  1. Brunner was 6'6" at best. Yes, but he had the athleticism of a 6'10 white guy. But seriously, I was remembering him being a little bigger than that. He's bigger than 6 foot 6. I'm 6 foot 5 and he's a good head taller than me. There's no way in hell he's any taller than 6'7" with shoes on. No way. Man you guys listed Ryan Bowen at 6'7". Even though he was 6'9" both in High School and the NBA. I'm telling you Brunner is pushing 6'8".

  3. He wasn't hustling like Barney would have. I believe the proper term for Barney is crafty? Does Barney qualify for the hustle/grit descriptors? From the eyeball test, he looks like he might be one of those lazy types. Fiery, fiery. Not classy, not gritty.
  4. He wasn't hustling like Barney would have. And his demeanor. Sorry, but I'm just not catching the right vibe. Somewhere jaydee knows what it is. But, he can't say anything.

  6. Clownshoes We should probably cut him now. Trade him to the Cardinals straight up for Theriot. For the grit factor alone this is worth it. GRIT.

  8. imb, why would Stern want Dwight to end up on a super team? You do know he's already freaked out that over half of the teams in the league are losing money, right? How would putting all of the great layers on two or three teams solve that?
  9. When are they gonna trade us McCutchen and Walker?
  10. I know that Wood has really struggled, but he still doesn't have a season's worth of at bats yet. Prolly a low risk gamble.
  11. 12 games behind who, exactly? Hopefully every other team in the division Who are you wanting to pick next year?
  12. I am all for anything that bothers Larussa. Such a D-Bag. Worries about the rules of the game, yet has any manager benefitted more from the steroiid era than he did?
  13. It's April, we're all used to it. Pretty sure he doesn't have an XBH. pretty sure his obp is over .500. 12-32, all singles and 1 run how is this possible? I'm gonna guess he has walked a few times.
  14. Man Wells and cashner can't get healthy soon enough.
  15. If you can't move Byrd there is no sense bringing him up right now. He can't come up to sit.
  16. Brandon is by far our best player. I hope he's playing a ton of minutes.
  17. It's gonna be tough with half of our rotation hurt to get too much momentum going. Just hang around.
  18. Man this one is on Bob Davidson too, that changed the entire inning.
  19. Lol. Breatheeeee No excuse for Dewitt not to be bunting, swinging at a 3-1 pitch, or Barney not taking a few stupid things DeWitt bunts and Castro doesn't get an at bat. But, yeah he should have been taking on 3 and 1.
  20. Starlin's gotta take that pitch. Oh well. Be good pen.
  21. I don't know what to think. Our starters haven't been good yet, Pena hasn't hit anything, and half our rotation is hurt. But, we are hanging around. Are we decent?
  22. DRose is ridculous. Start playing defense boys.
  23. This. Add the Castro throw, and it was just an awful defensive sequence. We are kind of an odd team. Not a ton of power, not much speed, not great defensively.
