We are gonna whiff on all the big 2013 kids. why do you say that? why does orris committing mean any of the actual good players will stay away? Well this takes a scholly away, plus just from what I'm reading it sounds as if Hamilton has cooled on us big time. And no way is Parker playing for Bruce Weber, he's pretty much said as much. When he talks about what he likes at Illinois he always says he's good friends with Jerrance.

I'd rather cheer for the Brewers, the Cardinals are sanctimonious and dbags. The Brewers are just dbags.

He's a mediocre player having a nice year largely dependent on his defensive value. Nothing new for him. 5 years in MLB, 3 of them between 0.9 and 1.1 WAR and a couple goofy outliers. I hope the Brewers keep him around. So do I. Because between Gomez and Morgan the Brewers will always have an elite defensive player in CF. And on a team like the Brewers who are terrible on defense it is really nice to know that at least one position they are above average. Is Gomez really an elite level defender? He looked awful out there last night, hopefully that was just a one game deal, but he was bad. Gomez is really good on defense, and he's got a great arm. He's also a quality base stealer, although he's a complete moron on the basepaths. Nyger Morgan, meanwhile, is not a good base stealer despite good speed and his baseball acumen is the worst of any player in the Majors. Ok, I wasn't saying he wasn't. Just thought he looked bad last night. Turned a single into a triple. I do think that was his first game in a long time too though.

Which is more relevant now? TSN or George Michael's Sports Machine? It's still a national publication that considers us to be irrelevant. Which Weber has basically made us. You're such a drama queen Eh the Cubs are awful, I have to have a team that's good to follow. Hate that it can't be Illinois basketball anymore.

No [expletive] way do we finish ninth. That's just crazy talk. If we don't finish in the top 3 I'm gonna be pissed. This is year 3 of his fixed recruiting and the rest of the Big Ten isn't very good. That said I imagine we will be closer to 9th than 1st, again.

Illinois isnt having a midnight madness. Awesome. So all the 2013 and 2014 kids will go to someone else's midnight madness. The journey to a mid major is almost complete.

Joe Johnson Despite his bad year for the Hawks, it would been awesome if we had gotten Joe Johnson for boozer money. Johnson is exactly what the bulls need. Colleti is straight garbage, Colleti is Tracy McGrady. He's broken down and really of no use, but if he were interested in taking on a lesser role for cheap, you might be interested, but even then you may as well take a pass. Wouldn't Billy Beane be TMac? 5 years ago everyone wanted him, now we aren't sure if he can still go.
