  1. Milwaukee fans are turds. Everyone who isn't a Bulls fan knew they were in trouble, nothing to do with me being a Bucks fan ;) Yep they were in huge trouble wining the most games in the league again this year.
  2. Milwaukee fan trolling Bulls fans on a Chicago Cubs message board. Laughable. Longing for the Lew Alcindor years.
  3. Hey look a non cub fan is on here trolling, big shock.
  4. Don't they want to lose a couple to have artest back for game one? his name is world peace, show some respect I will not.
  5. What sucks to me is we got robbed out of a great ECF as fans. Oh well I imagine that this eats at rose and he uses it to get better.
  6. I never understood that. Yes Rose was a key player for a title contender, but its not like the Bulls were heavy favorites to win the title. The Bulls wouldnt have even been favored going into the ECF. He said series.

  8. Why? We made the playoff 3 times since then. Pretty impressive considering we are in the same division as the Caridnals who had just an amazing decade. Because with the quality of prospects we had pumping through the system in the early part of the decade and the money spent in the later part we should have more to show for it than a few division flags and painful October memories. None of our prospects were Albert Pujols good during that era. Even Prior wasn't at that Level. We had a decent run.

  10. I remember a BA article after Prior was drafted that gave an in depth analysis of whether the author felt that Cruz or Prior should be higher ranked and ended up going with Cruz, admittedly because he had pitched against professional hitters. It was a very interesting read and frankly, for a Cubs fan... Really exciting. But I think you're right. People forget about how highly thought of Cruz was. And then we found out he was actually doing all that stuff in the minors at 4 years older than what he was listed as.
  11. Steve Nash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Deron Williams.
  12. It's probably a 90 loss team, what does it really matter? He's taking the spot of someone who could contribute in a few years Eh, maybe.

  14. Yes it was. The host asked him about when Olney covered the Yankees did he see Rivera do that often. That's when Olney said yes and said the rest. Did you watch the show it was on?
  15. Torii Hunter should. Or perhaps somebody who plays CF could. Olney was talking about in the early 2000s when he covered the Yankees. Where was Torii playing at that point? I'll wait for your answer.
  16. Torii Hunter should.
  17. Yeah, that's just asinine. But this is a shame, easily the greatest reliever of all-time. No way for a career to end. It's not at all true. I am willing to bet Olney made that crap up knowing that no one would even bother to check.
  18. Damn that sucks. It was about to be a great game annually. Who killed that? This really sucks. Both schools have egg on their face from this. The neutral sites that UK wanted worked quite well for fifteen years; whereas the campus sites since then have worked well and probably make more sense, considering the State of Kentucky's lack of viable neutral options. I've seen/heard a lot of IU fan's saying they're happy IU did not cave into UK's demands; however, everything does not have to be a pissing contest. Sometimes comprimising is the best solution. Sometimes, even "caving" may be the best solution; be the bigger man/school, and save a 43-year tradition that has been, every year, the game I've looked forward to most on the schedule. *For the record, though, the game was moved from neutral sites to campus sites at UK's behest seven years ago . . . so I could understand some frustration on IU's part that UK cannot make up their minds. But so what? Why do they have to be nuetral site games? Doesn't Cal see that UK probably benefitted from that loss in Bloomington?
  19. Why didn't he think of that before? His dad was a drug addict?
  20. Damn that sucks. It was about to be a great game annually. Who killed that?
  21. The [expletive]? Why should he? Because he can't stay healthy and keeps ending up under the knife. When is it enough? He's never going to pitch in the majors again. He has plenty of money. Go live your life, the dream is over. If you get to decide what he does with his life, does he get to decide what you do with yours? No ofcourse not, but Prior can give his opinion what he wants me to do with my life just like I can give my opinion on what he should do with his. If he just likes being around other baseball players in the minors that's cool. But if he thinks he has even a sniff of a chance to make the majors in any way, he's just not being realistic. Guy hasn't piched in the MLB for what, 8+ years? Some of you guys need to watch The Rookie again.
  22. It's not like he has 12 million either when you take into account taxes, agent fees, etc.
  23. Jesus Christ, maybe he just wants to pitch. Maybe someday he'll be able to do it again. It's only been 6 years. So what? Who is he hurting by trying?
  24. Why wouldn't you want one of our best players healthy for next season? Given the current landscape of the Eastern Conference, we could still have a chance at the #2 seed even with Deng out until December and Rose coming back at some point. Who knows what happens between now and then, but I have a hard time seeing the Bulls getting the 2 in that scenario. (Not that they should really be concerned with that. Get your best players healthy, and prepare for the playoffs. Would be interesting if they dropped down to the 4/5 game and were slotted to take on Miami in the semis. There'd be some interesting tanking/busting your ass of games down the stretch to get out of that top half of the bracket. I know the Celtics will be a year older and worse. oooooook? sorry, still angry about Rose getting hurt. Really though only Miami n the East scares me. I can't see any of these other decent teams being a real challenge if we are at full strength.
  25. I read a quote he had saying if he didn't keep trying he would someday wake up and regret giving it up before he was physically finished. Good for him. I still hope he makes it back up, even if it is just a Sept. call up.
