  1. He also hit a ton of homers at NWA earlier this year, but that might also be a hitters park.
  2. Agreed. Also, is there anyone on the planet less inspiring than Erik Spoelstra? Yes there is one guy I can think of. Ask tadowdaddy.
  3. Watching this makes me remember how much better NBC was at broadcasting these games. Didn't need stupid skits.
  4. Doesn't he already have one T?
  5. Even better. I really don't get the big deal. We knew we were bad and the guys decided they didn't want to do the quick fix route. Plus like many have said we've been unlucky this year.
  6. We knew we weren't going to be very good anyways, I don't get why anyone would be worked up about this team. Relax in a month you'll have more reasons to watch. In the meantime I'd suggest enjoying the minor league section.
  7. SSR, how confident are you about your guys stealing a game in OKC during the first two games?
  8. He's actually a lot like the previous Billy Hamilton. But, not as good.
  9. Goog god LeBron has so much talent.
  10. Don't you make me cheer for LeBron.
  11. I...don't agree. You think we would have swept you? Since you know that you can't rebound at all and we would have crushed you on the boards? Ok, I'm as rabid a Bulls fan as any, but doesn't it seem to be a poor time to talk trash to the fans of a team that is one game away from the Finals against the presumed best team in the conference? If I can't troll SSR, then I don't want to do the Internet.
  12. I...don't agree. You think we would have swept you? Since you know that you can't rebound at all and we would have crushed you on the boards?
  13. If anyone has the mental toughness to get it done it's LeBron. That's for sure.
  14. Man I hope he pitches against us at Wrigley.
  15. I don't think they would move him for Garza. Remember when Toronto scooped Lawrie for Marcum? Yes. But the fact that marcum was signed for a few more years makes a big difference.
  16. I don't think they would move him for Garza.
  17. Oh god, Evan Longoria. Ok I would trade Starlin straight up for him.
  18. It is. He does kinda have a good point on how ridiculously low Lebron's fouls per minute/game are and how he's likely not having fouls called on him that should be. At least he's getting multiple fouls called against him in the Boston series. Against Indiana he didn't even foul out of the series (5 total fouls in 6 games). In his defense though, for how active he is on both ends of the court he is excellent at being fundamental and not fouling. He should have more fouls than he's getting, but he's not a high foul type of player. Still you cannot play that level of pressure defense without fouling some. 5 in 6 games is a joke.
  19. Yep, but he and his AAU coach have both tweeted good things about Illinois after it happened. I am hoping he lands on his feet.
  20. I like Cashners arm, but anytime that you can get a young, corner bat for a bullpen arm you have to jump on it.
  21. That was a nicely drawn up play. It got Dooling a lane to drive and he could have either drawn a foul and shoot FTs or if LeBron left his man to help, dish it to Allen for a wide open 3 attempt. You give up the layup there.
  22. Me too, but he constantly screws up in the clutch. He leaves Allen, misses a layup, then misses that open look. It's gotta be in is head at this point.
  23. Nice d LeBron. Way to leave Ray Allen open for three while up three.
  24. Yep i'm thinking groce told him thanks but no thanks. it's becoming clearer and clearer that he's not a high-major player at the division 1 level. Not a high major player? Rivals (I know you hate them) has him in their newest Top 100 and the other services have him as a three star. you'll see why. i was a little surprised that he was playing behind bobo drummond, but then i actually saw him play. it wasn't pretty, he's not 6-4 and he cannot dunk any more than i can his star has fallen from the scout lists and he has been a 4-star the entire time. the current 3-star rating is just because of the early hype he received. we'll see where he is in the fall. This is what I've heard also. He's my height and can barely dunk. I'm in my 30s and still dunk easily. And in no way am I a high major athlete. He's also not very quick and not a shooter. I wish him luck, but not losing any sleep over him leaving.
