  1. Just ordered one. Thanks David!
  2. Phillies cut Coghlan https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2017/03/phillies-release-chris-coghlan.html
  3. He's nowhere close to catching up to that fastball. Given that it's spring training, I bet the pitchers who gave up hits to him were directed that day to work on their offspeed stuff or whatever. "Coach, please let me throw fastballs to Tim freaking Tebow, I really don't want to give up a hit to him. I'll never hear the end of it from the guys." "No, no, we're working on changeups today." "Coach please..." "No."
  4. Wouldn't it be very hot wearing a black t shirt in New Orleans? Or anywhere else where it gets hot and humid for that matter. Unless of course you don't go outside much. New Orleans is more muggy hot than direct sunlight hot. Not sure if that makes sense.

  6. I'd wear the horsefeathers out of that if I lived in New Orleans @NOLA
  7. Tebow v Scherzer goes as expected
  8. some morning entertainment
  9. Those bros in the middle https://twitter.com/uncbarstool/status/846151996868640768
  10. Just saw this for the first time today. Love it. Cold blooded when a whole stadium trolls you.
  11. Everyone who was on the big league roster gets one. For example, Dan Uggla got a SF Giants ring despite doing this for them that year: 12 AB's, 0 hits, and 2 errors
  12. Just saw that Jake's HR is the longest HR ever hit by a pitcher in the statcast era.
  13. My wife just tried to call the number that Ross put on his instagram but he put up the wrong number! It was the number of another team. D'oh
  14. I can only guess that they have other brothers named Hunter, Caleb and Dallas There's only two of them, so the cringey names ends there. It could have been worse. It could have been spelled Colbi.
  15. Colby Bortles, younger brother of Blake Bortles, had a pretty one for my Rebs yesterday. http://oi63.tinypic.com/2r281aq.jpg
  16. Javy really has the most swag of any baseball player in history. And he's OURS.
  17. Oh my. McCann would have Jack Ruby'd him at home plate.
  18. Wow Baylor. Something in the water? The NCAA should be parked in Waco and should have been for the past year, instead they had their top investigators in Oxford for literally 44 months and only uncovered around $20,000 of impermissible benefits. Even if they had uncovered 5 million dollars of impermissible benefits, that would not excuse them from the fact that they've taken no action on Tennessee or Baylor, two athletic departments that covered up multiple rapes and paid off victims. I'd argue that not being prosecuted for rape is one hell of an impermissible benefit.
  19. Had a random memory today. I remember Harry ALWAYS saying "Ryan Kelsko".
  20. 2004. Astros v. Braves playoff game in Turner Field. May as well have been a Cubs game because I was sitting with many thousands of dejected looking people wearing Cubs gear.
  21. Not sure what year it was, maybe 2010 or something like that, but it was freezing cold and Aramis CRUSHED a walk off homer in extra innings. found it: May 17th, 2010 against the Rockies. Aramis hit a walk off in the 11th.
  22. It's a good thing. He's taking at-bats from someone that may actually play against the Cubs in the future.
  23. So I'm watching the Mets-Sox game for the schadenfreude of seeing Tebow flail away at Porcello and Allen Craig came up to bat for the Sox. Wow, has that dude fallen off the map. In 2013 he hit .315/.373/.522, 129 OPS+ and then the next season he hit .215/.279/.315, 67 OPS+. Since then he's messed around in the minors and only played in 36 games in the bigs in 2015 and not at all last year.
