  1. Whenever I hear his name I think about the game, I forget which game, when he got a concussion during the game and they kept showing shots of him sitting on the bench looking incredibly stoned.

  3. OH!!! Now Phillip Rivers is hurt! Took a shot to his knee from a lineman.
  4. HAHA, Vince Young just ran into Shawn Merriman and was basically knocked out on the ground. Funny thing is, Young didn't even have the ball as he had just handed it off and was running as if he was rolling out but wasn't looking where he was going because he was watching the run develop. Merriman was basically just standing there and Young ran into him. Merriman put his hands up like "I didn't do s***!" Collins in the game now for Tennessee.
  5. TLR was on XM the other day and was saying that he's never seen anything like this in his 30 years of being involved in professional baseball. He was basically implying that Rolen has lost his mind.
  6. People in the NFL are just lucky that Willis is a nice guy. If he had the mind of a Deacon Jones, he'd be ending some careers by now. His hit earlier in the year on Leinart could have destroyed him (as if he wasn't already), but you can tell that Willis pulls up at the end because he doesn't really want to rock his world: http://img32.picoodle.com/img/img32/5/12/9/t_leinartm_776af1a.gif I think today's game with him and Adrian is going to be a showcase of what perhaps might become the best offensive player and defensive player in the NFL for years to come.
  7. Costas should be commissioner of baseball
  8. Willis is gonna put AP in the ground. SF is 27th in the league in RYPG allowed Minnesota is first in the league in RYPG In conclusion, no. I said P-Willy is gonna put a lick on him, not San Fran, they suck.

  10. So that explains why they are all heathens on the Left Coast...

  13. and much like Psycho, their seasons will end in a brutal mauling.
  14. Normally I'd mock anything the Rays do, but this does look pretty neat: http://tampabay.rays.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20071128&content_id=2313331&vkey=news_tb&fext=.jsp&c_id=tb http://www.majorleaguedowntown.com/userfiles/image/57_Ballpark_Pioneer%20Park.jpg http://www.majorleaguedowntown.com/userfiles/image/57_Ballpark_Upper%20Deck.jpg http://www.majorleaguedowntown.com/userfiles/image/57_Ballpark_from%20North.jpg http://www.majorleaguedowntown.com/userfiles/image/57_Ballpark_2nd%20Ave.jpg http://www.majorleaguedowntown.com/userfiles/image/57_Ballpark_from%20Bay.jpg
  15. I gave up trying to take it seriously, because half the responses weren't serious to begin with and everytime I said "get serious", I'm accused of only letting players in that I want.

  17. yet another case of "let's pile on the newbie". you'd think it would get old (but some people just can't help it) alot of that going around lately...
  18. Not sure if this has been commented on... Just heard Dave Kaplan on XM saying that he spoke to Hendry tonight about the Brian Roberts deal and he said he asked Jim whether he'd consider sending Hill in the move, to which Hendry told Kaplan "Rich is going NOWHERE". He said that if he were to make a guess, the Brian Roberts deal would include Gallagher, Pie, and perhaps a few lower prospects. Kaplan also said that he expects Fukudome to be playing RF for the Cubs on opening day but doesn't expect anything will be done until next week.
  19. Very good point, because I realized in the early 30's that Christy Matthewson, a contender for greatest pitcher of all time, wasn't even on the board yet.
  20. Obviously this thread has turned funny, but it is amazing that Speaker fell all the way to #52: .345/.428/.500, 158 OPS+ 1st in career doubles 5th in hits 5th in .BA 6th in triples And was by all accounts the greatest fielding CF until Willie Mays with the most outfield assists of all time at 448.
