You really think Dale Murphy is above, I don't know...Ernie Banks, Frank Robinson, George Brett, Bob Gibson, Yogi Berra, Johnny Bench, Cal Ripken Jr, Bob Feller, Ryne Sandberg, Pete Alexander, Eddie Collins, Jackie Robinson....just to name a few That .265/.346/.469 and career 121 OPS+ from an outfielder is certainly remarkable.

I wonder how much of Miggy's weight gain and lack of "morale" lately has to do with the fact that he plays on a crappy team, under crappy management, and in a crappy stadium. It's cliche, but a change of scenery really might do him good.
