To be fair, it is kinda hard for Tennessee to get guys like Oher, Jarmon, and Hardy who are from around the Memphis area. Memphis is about an hour away from Ole Miss, so we get oodles of their talent in football and baseball. What always surprises me is the fact that the state of Mississippi is able to continually field somewhat competitive teams given the number of schools draining players from an already small state population. Only Arkansas has a smaller population among SEC states and yet Mississippi has Ole Miss, Miss State, Southern Miss, and several SWAC schools that often take away good talent. Add onto that the fact that many programs from other states get Mississippi talent.
