  1. Get a slice of that pizza that is as big as a wagon wheel. Been there like four times but can't remember the name of it. I think it is nearly beneath the el track.
  2. No kidding. Wish Freeze had had those 2008-09 Rebel teams. A buffoon like Nutt won 18 games in those two years. Makes me ill to think what a competent coach would have done with that talent.
  3. Not sure if there is a better player-reporter tirade than Goose Gossage's: http://thestacks.deadspin.com/listen-to-the-greatest-yankees-meltdown-ever-captured-o-1166053729?autoplay=1
  4. I'm straight up terrified about tomorrow's game against Vandy. They have Ole Miss' number lately, winning 6 of 8, usually in 4th quarter comebacks. Last year the Rebels put up 458 yards on Vandy but ended up losing by a point on a literal last minute touchdown pass. Anyways, I'm expecting to lose this one.
  5. and AJ Green got 4 games for selling his own game jersey.
  6. Meh. Looks like film from when the public schools down here play the private schools; making a bunch of white dudes miss tackles isn't too impressive.
  7. bahaha ok, Manziel signed those hundreds of autographs out of the kindness of his heart. A sit down autograph session in a hotel room just for the hell of it. Manziel didn't have anything better to do that evening I guess.
  8. Haha, Billy Joe Tolliver, blast from the past. I was just in high school back then so I wasn't getting wasted at those games but everyone else sure seemed to be. Back then it was pretty much inconceivable that a Saints team like our 2009 team would ever exist.
  9. ICHIRO, 4,000 hits. Stud.
  10. Great tailgating does not mean you have a premier gameday atmosphere. semantics. I'm clearly referring to pregame.
  11. Ole Miss has only beaten LSU three times since 2000, so none of those 10 losses I referenced were in the 90's.
  12. Would much rather that game be played at LSU and not in Oxford. Ole Miss hasn't lost by more than 6 points in Baton Rogue since 1995. All of our beatdowns by LSU have happened in Oxford. Well, that's dumb. No it isn't. Our previous 5 losses in Oxford have come at an average of 28 points difference. Our previous 5 losses in Baton Rogue came at an average of 5 points difference. Ole Miss has a bit of a recent history of playing better on the road than at home. Ole Miss has arguably the premier gameday atmosphere in the country, but because fans are so into that aspect of it, they often are pretty weak actual game fans. Don't make a lot of noise or anything like that.

  14. Sweetness for NFL I guess Personally, I'd replace Hockey and Gretzky with Muhammad Ali.
  15. "The Throw" http://i40.tinypic.com/2rmw56p.gif I think Puig's might be better. Puig looks to be a little further away and more impressively he isn't running into the throw like Ichiro, he has to more or less reverse his direction to make that throw. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/3057911/puiglaser.gif
  16. Ole Miss v. Vandy is the first game of the whole season I believe. Huge, huge game for both teams. Lots of intrigue in that game as far as the whole Vandy/Rape storyline is concerned and with Ole Miss' stud freshmen who will be playing in the game like Nkemdiche and Treadwell.

  20. yeah I was already moving my mouse to the "quote" button when I read your second line.

  22. I admit I had to google Peter Principle. Your statement is so freaking true. I find it odd that you had to google Peter Principle, but I have no idea how it applies here. Because A&M is in over their heads at this point. At least that's how I understood it.
  23. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2013/08/06/report-broker-says-johnny-manziel-paid-7500/2624831/ I find the bit about one of the brokers being from Alabama to be a bit humorous. JFF should have been wary of anyone with nefarious attentions hailing from Alabama.
