It's my understanding that with the SEC, CBS gets first pick for their 2:30 game and then ESPN gets the next pick for their 11am game. CBS doesn't always do a night game, so I'm not sure where that is in the pecking order, but the first two slots for SEC are 2:30 and then 11am. So I'm not sure what to take away from TAMU and Bama being at 8, but it's definitely not a priority game at this point because you're right, TAMU is going to get blown to tiny bits. Ole Miss is a ridiculous offense with a Heisman type QB and they couldn't do jack against that defense, so I don't know how TAMU scores on them. God bless him, but Calzada looks as overmatched as I've ever seen an SEC QB look. It's a whole lot different than we were younger. Back in the 90's and early 2000's, that 11am slot was the slot of death for SEC schools. It was the Jefferson Pilot game of the week or something like that. But now it's the second pick.
