Just make those bowls become playoff games now and they rotate every year and play the 4 playoff games on New Years Day. It would be the greatest sports day in America every year. On this scenario it would go: Peach Bowl 12pm (EST) Sugar Bowl 3pm Fiesta Bowl 6pm Rose Bowl 9pm

The only possibility of losing again in the regular season for them is Auburn. It's a low possibility, but weird things happen in the Iron Bowl and that game is in Auburn. After that, I think Georgia beats them in Atlanta. Georgia's defense is without question the best defense I've seen for the past decade.

Aside from Georgia, there aren't any real juggernauts this season. The 12 team playoff would be a lot of fun this year. Here's SI's latest "mock playoff". Of course this bracket is silly because OSU isn't finishing 9th. I'm pretty sure they're making the actual playoff.

I have yet to watch Clemson this year so I know nothing. This is certainly not just bad QB play, is it? Yeah, something else must stink over there because even with a bad QB you'd expect a HELL of a lot more from a team that for the last 4 years had recruiting classes ranked 8th, 9th, 2nd, and 7th.

Yes, this is a very good point. I don't THINK anything is going to come off the dozens of NCAA violations and Title IX issues that LSU is facing currently, but you never know. LSU essentially has a get out of jail free card because their AD's father-in law is the head of NCAA Enforcement, so....

Interesting name I’ve heard thrown out recently about the LSU job: Brian Kelly. The sales pitch would be “look, our last two coaches were morons and they won national titles, whereas you are a legitimately great coach.” Essentially, Kelly has likely maxed out what he can do at ND. He’s unlikely to ever win a title there due to the recruiting ceiling he faces. LSU clearly doesn’t have that problem. He’s already built a legacy and ND and now might be a time to move on. As for ND, this would be a good time for them to replace Kelly with Fickel and would give them a reset, with the young Fickel inheriting Kelly’s ready-made program.

Most of the smoke has been about Mel Tucker. His buyout to get him out of MSU is really small, which is something LSU is going to have to think about considering they are having to pay O his entire 17 million.

Yeah I feel your pain: Corral is carrying Ole Miss entirely by himself the same way Manziel did and ultimately it's going to be wasted due to the defense. Your defense was ranked in the 100's in 2013 the same as Ole Miss' is right now. yes, absolutely. For whatever reason, even against run heavy teams like with Arkansas, Ole Miss never deviates from this 3-2-6 defense they are running. With Tennessee being a run heavy team, you should definitely expect another shootout.
