  1. LSU will need to fire O for cause if they want to be able to pay Kiffin's enormous buyout. I'm not sure Kiffin makes that jump anyways. Ole Miss is a really good fit for him right now. His twitter persona and his actual personality are two very different things. Kiffin is quite the introvert in real life and at Ole Miss he's allowed to just go about his business with his head down and nobody messes with him, but the Baton Rogue media and LSU boosters are on the complete opposite side of that. He's apparently adopted the Saban model for dealing with boosters and hangers-on i.e. piss off and let me do my job and "no, you can't come to practice and stand there." I'm not sure that would fly at LSU. I also don't think Kiffin has won enough yet at Ole Miss to currently qualify for a blue blood type gig.
  2. How it’s going in Baton Rouge…
  3. TAMU seems to specialize in doing less with more than any other program in the conference. I just looked it up and right now on the roster TAMU has 10 four-star OL and 2 five-star OL. For comparison, Ole Miss has 0 four-star OL and 0 five-star OL. For further comparison with another school that has a similar "budget", Bama has 8 four-star OL and 3 five-star OL.
  4. It's my understanding that with the SEC, CBS gets first pick for their 2:30 game and then ESPN gets the next pick for their 11am game. CBS doesn't always do a night game, so I'm not sure where that is in the pecking order, but the first two slots for SEC are 2:30 and then 11am. So I'm not sure what to take away from TAMU and Bama being at 8, but it's definitely not a priority game at this point because you're right, TAMU is going to get blown to tiny bits. Ole Miss is a ridiculous offense with a Heisman type QB and they couldn't do jack against that defense, so I don't know how TAMU scores on them. God bless him, but Calzada looks as overmatched as I've ever seen an SEC QB look. It's a whole lot different than we were younger. Back in the 90's and early 2000's, that 11am slot was the slot of death for SEC schools. It was the Jefferson Pilot game of the week or something like that. But now it's the second pick.
  5. ESPECIALLY with Ed Orgeron at the helm. They've got a whole slew of likely losses coming up in 5 straight weeks: Kentucky, Florida, Ole Miss, Bama, and Arkansas. I'm not sure Coach O survives the next month. He's a clown and they are wanting to get rid of him anyways, so at some point in the next month is the time to fire him if they're going to do it.
  6. INFURIATING. Time to take the training wheels off Jameis.
  7. Nah he can just claim he’s having more heart issues
  8. Best players money can buy for both Bama and Georgia. 5 star linemen against 3 star linemen rarely works out for the 3 stars.
  9. Not sure about OM winning but definitely take the over. Still not gonna pick OM to win but generally when Bama loses in Tuscaloosa during the Saban era it’s because the best player on the field is playing for the visitors (Manziel and Burrow) and I think Corral is certainly the best player on either team at the moment, so we’ll see Guessing he meant Ole Miss plus the points (14.5 or so). We didn’t even mention the point spread so I assume he was picking OM to win. Plenty of analysts are actually picking OM to win outright.

  11. The OM-BAMA o/u is 79, which is the highest o/u in SEC history.
  12. New record. 66 yards
  13. Ole Miss’ offense next week is the only thing standing in their way the rest of the year.
  14. “McAfee on Meth” would be a nice weekly segment with the Mannings.
  15. One of the goofiest plays ever
  16. Arkansas and TAMU will be a good game
  17. Packers must be complete ass bc this Saints team is getting blown to bits today
  18. Matt Corral was first SEC QB ever to have 4 rushing and 3 passing TD’s in a game.
  19. It's on, OMC. Call me nuts, but I really think Tulane has a chance in this one.
  20. It's on, OMC. Call me nuts, but I really think Tulane has a chance in this one. Yeah, maybe. They certainly scared the hell out of Oklahoma. I still don’t really know how good Ole Miss is this season because I don’t think Louisville is that good and there’s really nothing to be learned from a blowout over Austin Peay. The Tulane game will be a decent indicator of how good they are or are not.
  21. Amazing
