  1. Haha, yeah, my bad. Anyway, there's no defending his attitude in these threads. I dare you to try. As a Michigan St fan, I cannot disagree with what Truffle said. As for Truffles arrogance, I find this pretty common amongst PSU fans. If there team isnt as good as the other team, its because the other teams are either paying players or getting officiating calls or both. wrong. anyway, does verne lunquist ever do a bad game? it seems like every SEC game he calls ends up being a great game that's down to the wire. Also this BC game is pretty funny, the weather is just awful there. both BC and FSU like to throw the ball, but that's not gonna be a great option in these conditions. Really. I dont think I have ever seen any of you PSU guys say OSU and Mich have better programs right now. Maybe you have and I have missed it. As a MSU fan I have no problem saying PSU, Mich, OSU and most of the rest of the Big Ten are better than us. Hopefully we will get better.

  3. could you imagine how scary good Michigan would be if they would run that offense all the time
  4. aaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh
  5. Holding on Michigan on a key play. Instead of 1st down now its 3rd and 11
  6. The Officials have really carried MSU in the 2nd half. It has nothing to do with the fact that they arent commiting penalties and blocking!!!!!!!!!!!! this is my example of winning is driven by performance, not officiating
  7. If we go for it. please do not come out in a goalline formation
  8. Now that the officiating is straightened out. MSU has really picked up the action. Our running game was strong on our TD drive and our defense did ok. Really should have been a td for Michigan but Henne overthrew the ball.
  9. please, jog my memory. I can give a dozen examples of bad calls that have gone against penn state the past five years of the series; usually when i ask for bad calls against michigan i don't get any examples Because thats what fans do. They remember what goes against them(especially in games they lose) and forget whats goes for them. I dont know I dont watch every Penn St/Michigan game. The one that Paterno chased down the ref after the game. There was a call that went for Penn St about 30 secs before the one that went against them. If it was called right Penn St would have had 4th and 15 instead of 4th and 3. Probably would have ended the drive. Anyway that Holding call has really got MSU running the ball well. It even opened Hoyer up for a good Play action pass.
  10. Holding against Michigan!!!!!!!!! You guys must of exposed the conspiracy and now its going to be called straight
  11. If you really think this is why Michigan is kicking our butts, please take a seat in the losers section. Not at all however, for the last two weeks I've watched Michigan' opposition get called for holding while they continue to drag defenders to the ground without a call. Its a losers mentality. Michigan is beating us for reasons like, our stupid penalities, Hoyer not being very good, our lack of running game. If you are waiting for the refs win the game for us, please become a Penn St fan. waiting for an evenly officiated game =/= waiting for officials to win you a game OR MAKING EXCUSSES FOR LOSING dude there's a reason that michigan state fans are wondering about the officiating in this game, and illinois fans a couple of weeks ago, and penn state fans, and northwestern fans... I am a Michigan St fan and I am not wondering about the officiating. I am wondering why people cry about it all the time. Losers cry about officiating. Sorry thats the way I see it and it will not change. Michigan St is not losing this week because of the REFs. Its because of our mistakes. We are commiting the penalties that are getting called. Our player let Hart fake him out of his pants on one play and didnt bring him down on another. Our QB underthrew a wide open TD. We fix that stuff we are winning. NOT CRYING ABOUT OFFICIATING. I am sorry but the truth is officials are human and they make mistakes that GO BOTH WAYS. If you are looking for the officials as the reason your team losses, well that explains why your team losses. When Michigan plays at Illinois and has 1 penatly for 5 yards and Illinois has 10 for well over 100 and the game is a one score game up until the last series, the officials had a hand in deciding that game. Right or wrong. Wrong. Illinois penalties were late hits, face masks, offsides, roughing the punter. Did Michigan do any of these and not get called. they pentalty for roughing the kicker on Illinois was a joke. It should have been a five yarder, but it was called a 15 yarder with an automatic first down that set up a touchdown. Michigan gets the benefit of the doubt way too often. Dont run into him and you dont have to worry about it. Did you see Michigan running into the Illinois punter?
  12. Because they get tired of losing to Michigan year in and year out so they come up with crazy theories about how the referees are biased for Michigan and that allows the fans of the other teams to sleep at night without thinking their team sucks. Rather than "You know, maybe our team just isn't that good." it's "We're better than Michigan but they just get all the calls and the referees favor them." 2 seconds. that is all http://www.brendanandamy.com/other/avant.jpg You can pull out instances in any game that a call goes one way or another. Are you saying that Penn St has never gotten a call in a game against Michigan. Or none that you remember.

This is why everyone used to think the Cowboys got all the calls. It it why everyone thinks the Yankees get all the calls. Sure they do have calls go in their favor. These are the ones thats fans of other teams cry about all day. However no one seems to cry about any calls that go against Michigan, Cowboys or the Yankees.

  15. there's really no point in discussing this with michigan fans... other B11 can see it but michigan fans never will I am not a Michigan fan.

  21. interesting word to use when talking about a Daryl Ward option pick up
  22. I am not sure what the Cubs other OF options could be. The Free Agent market is very questionable. I think letting Jones/Murton platoon in Right and Pie in CF is probably the smart move. Paying Rowand, Jones or Hunter big money would surely be a major gamble in my opinion. I think the Cubs need to have a little faith in their system and let Pie play center. If it doesnt work, maybe a better/cheaper option will come open at the trade deadline.
  23. Hundley didn't play long enough or hit well enough to enter the conversation. plus he sired todd. Without looking at there stats I am guessing that Todd would be a better option than Randy. I never noticed this before but the Yankees have had an incredible amount of Catching talent. Its not just Yankee hype either. They have had at least 4 of the top 15 catchers of all time. Plus a couple of other pretty good ones.
  24. He'll be playing, 100% sure. And have alligator arms every time he is thrown to. Pats in a yawner.
  25. I can't believe he's 36 already. I still hate Colorado. Just think he was a $1 waiver claim. For all the crap most fans gave the Wings for buying their team before the Cap. They made a lot of real savy deals.
