As Ohio State and Michigan found out last year, the top Big Ten teams just don't have the talent, speed or depth to play with the top teams from the SEC and PAC Ten. Although with former SEC guy Zook in charge, the Illini are starting to recruit the right kind of players. Not only is Illinois going to get blown out, the remaining Big three of the Big Ten (Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin) are going to get outclassed by three SEC teams (LSU, Florida and Tennessee) who play in a much tougher conference. LSU > Ohio State Georgia > Illinois Tennessee > Michigan (and Appalachian State) Florida > Wisconsin Arkansas > Penn State Auburn > Iowa Kentucky > Indiana Miss. State > Mich State Purdue = Alabama South Carolina = Northwestern Vanderbilt > Minesota You do realize that the Big Ten took 2 out of 3 last year from the SEC? I think they will win at least 1 this year also. Probably 2. If they were quasi home games for the Big Ten they may win all 3. You do realize that the second best team in the SEC was busy blowing out Notre Dame while the second best team in the Big Ten was getting killed by the Trojans? You do realize the 2nd best team in the Big Ten blew out Notre Dame last year also. At Notre Dame. Not in another home sec bowl game. It really means nothing. What does mean something is that the Big Ten took 2 out of 3 from the vastly superior SEC last year. Again I have said it before and will say it again. The SEC is probably better then the Big Ten. The SEC is not next to the NFL like most of you SEC guys want to pretend. Bowl records, overall records and Top draft picks would say that the Big Ten is pretty close to the SEC over the last 10 years.
