  1. Assigning any importance to someone because of their followers on twitter is what's ridiculous. If that makes me a get off my lawn guy, so be it. By that rationale, I guess cam girls are to be revered.
  2. He's a dick because an irrelevant social media personality said something dumb and he sniped back at her? Oh ok. i mean it was a playful exchange but i could swear this isn't the first time you've rage posted about lana berry she's fine (and considering she has like 110k followers including players and big time journalists, it would seem she's far from irrelevant) I guess it depends on your definition. Anybody who's only claim to fame is posting on twitter and trolling athletes is pretty effing irrelevant.
  3. Well, that's the most tense I've been watching baseball since Game 7.
  4. When Zobrist returns the Cubs will have the most Z's in baseball. Zambrano should throw out the first pitch.
  5. It really becomes clear how little I know about he NBA when things like this happen and I literally have no idea what part is the WTF. Because the Lakers would be insane to pull the trigger.
  6. I really thought the Phillies were going to be sneaky good this season. Geeeez.
  7. At a bar where a game just ended and Speak for Yourself just came on FS1. I refuse to believe there is an audience that watches Cowherd, Whitlock and Doug Gotlieb bicker about nonsense for an hour.
  8. Supposedly on the Cubs broadcast they are giving a Hendricks update. Anyone relay that to those of us stuck listening to Keith Hernandez?
  9. How was the crowd reception to Russell being announced?
  10. This is when Montgomery establishes himself as a starter thereby kicking Lackey to spot starter.
  11. Pffft. The Cubs are about to be 5-0 since I changed my avatar to Mr. Furley.
  12. There might not be another bad to sorta bad band who has more passionate defenders than Sublime.
  13. Wait, Darwin Barney plays LF now?!? What little value he did have is completely negated out there.
  14. Those more up to date on these things, is Tseng still a thing? I remember when there was a bit of buzz about him around here. Will this guy ever be a 6th starter type?
  15. That's probably my favorite part. Posey not only doesn't even try to stop Harper from charging the mound, but he waits until both teams are basically at the mound before he even moves towards it. Definitely shows how he feels about Strickland and the HBP. I heard audio from Posey on the drive home today that was basically saying that yeah, he "sorta got it" why Harper would want to charge the mound.
  16. I just realized that last season's two WS participants (and favorites this season) are a combined 3 games over at Memorial Day. Both teams will be fine.
  17. Sure seems like he is not seeing the strike zone at all. He should have crushed a couple of pitches there he watched, and fouled off something way inside.
  18. I am not a big Zepplin fan. Besides, "Pour Sime Sugar on Me" was a masterpiece.
  19. Well, that's just madness. It's an album with plenty of filler, but you're lumping in "Back in the USSR," "Blackbird," "I Will," "Mother Nature's Son" and "Helter Skelter" as garbage. "Blackbird" is brilliant.
  20. Pretty sure nobody is out there propping up "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?" as some kind of next-level genius like "Santeria." NOLA was Right now, OMC is getting a dull pain in his head and not sure why. I love that song. It's simple and fits in the middle of that album. Pretty sure it was never intended to be the headliner. Besides, "Santeria" was a main hit on that God forsaken album. "Do it in the Road" was a nice intermission in a brilliant album.
