    I was at the game in ATL last night. They found a dead guy in one of the walk-in coolers before the game. Beautiful new park, but damn is it a long trip from downtown now. why didn’t I see you there? I know, right? I was third base side, row 11.

    I don’t have audio on (thankfully) but he might have a point. I’ve seen a guy called out on that play. It is close enough that Hyde has told runners to get back.

    The Cubs have this really bad habit of running through 1B and staying inside the base path. Some ump is going to call an out at some point if another team catches on.

    Exactly how I feel about the Davis HR. It was actually the first time in my entire life that I let that nonsense into my head and it was basically immediately erased. The Davis home run was the absolute worst feeling ever but deep down I still believed we would win. However, after the failure that was the 9th inning I was absolutely DESPODENT during the rain delay. Then Kyle got on base and I was 100% back in.....just a wicked roller coaster of emotions. After the Davis HR I told my gf that I was done with it and was going to the bar. Part of me thought I’d be somewhere to finish it by the time the rain delay ended, but part of me wanted to miss the end. She ripped me (rightfully so) and insisted I stay put and finish the game. If not for her I’d have missed the Cubs winning the MFing World Series.

    I wasn't aware that jokes get less funny at my age. Btw, they were asking your age because they can't tell if you are 15 or something. Hahaha. That's so dumb. Why does that matter? A 15 year old has a sense of humor and gets jokes. I don't think I would find this more or less funny at 15. It is possible that jokes get less funny as you get older/mature. I'm hoping you don't find fart jokes or butt jokes as funny as when you were a kid... I actually think fart jokes are funnier now than I did when I was 15.

    There is absolutely nothing useful about Asik. He is completely broken down. Greg Monroe might be signed by the Pels as soon as tomorrow. Someone have a thumbnail scouting report on Mirotic? From what I have seen, the Pels might actually be better constructed after these two moves.
