    Seconded. Sumlin out at aTm. Graham out at AZ St. Schiano looks to be going to Tenn. Mullen to Fla maybe. Norvell or Venables to Ark. No on Norvell to Ark. Something has come up in his background that has scared away every school. Maybe this?

    Second that. I really, really don’t think Malzhan is going to get an offer from Arkansas. It’s Norvell all the way.

    OMC, I may not have any better info than you, but from what I hear Jeff Long from Arkansas was fired for just cause because of some stupid financial blunders with the current stadium expansion. Bielema probably doesn’t make it to the Missouri game once they are bowl ineligible after Miss State. FWIW, the rumors I am hearing: Jimbo to aTm Arkansas offers Malzhan, then if he declines Norvell (my choice) Mullen to Tennessee Also hear Terry Don Phillips is advising the BOT at Arkansas on the next AD and they might be going for Tubberville.

    I like Georgia to roll. Auburn and their QB are no match for that D. Plus Auburn’s D hasn’t seen a running attack like Georgia. I’m all in on Miss State now. BAMA always has trouble with running QBs and Fitzgerald is solid.

    I’ve thought the same way about Loomis/Payton in the draft and with FA signings. Ever since they brought in Ireland in the FO they have killed it in the offseason. I don't see how Loomis can give ample time to both the Pelicans and the Saints. It just seems like that's when everything started to go to hell with the front office. Loomis is mostly the guy who works with contracts and the cap (poorly IMO) and Payton is the scouting half. But yeah, I agree. A new set of eyes as head of scouting was good for them.

    Which is quite surprising considering how bad their previous five or so drafts were. They only have like 4 guys on the team from their 2011-2015 drafts or something like that. Atrocious.     Kamara is what the Saints have missed lately. Perfect fit in this offense. What a draft the last two years for NO.

    I knew I’d have some rooting interest in the Astros, but now that it’s started I really want Houston to win.

    Saints have looked really good so far. The defense is much improved with the defensive backfield actually being the strength. Lattimore at CB is close to being an elite CB and Breaux returns next week on the other side. Cam Jordan is having an All Pro type season. Ingram and Kamara at RB have the offense more balanced than it has been in years. Snead and Armstead are back next week, too.

    Baseball players guess. You said yourself you only watch Cubs, so of course you are going to see "guessing" more from them than other teams. The team's approach is great. The offense is great. It's not unstoppable but no lineup is. Not to nitpick, but their approach really seemed to suck this postseason. Theo always preached about working counts and wearing staffs down. Game 7 against the Dodgers, KB saw a grand total of 10 pitches. Derp, Game 5.

    crap. i don't like this getting play. he's going to be shamed into pitching. i'd prefer it was their dumb manager's decision so that it would stay that way. They’re already saying he is unavailable tomorrow. Gio and Scherzer may get an inning, but Strasburg is out.
