  1. But why? I understand the sentiment about Trump, but why would you waste energy caring about something like that? Because they make the world a worse place and I am against the world being worse. Well...yeah, me too, but getting upset about a ballplayer’s wife’s political beliefs serves no utility other than getting you in a lather. I’m not trying to be an ass, but worrying about horsefeathers like that seems counter to general happiness. There’s enough real consequential things involving politics to keep us adequately stressed.
  2. I care about anybody being such a piece of human trash that they would actively support Donald Trump. But why? I understand the sentiment about Trump, but why would you waste energy caring about something like that?
  3. Am I seeing things or are these some very catchable fly balls that are dropping?
  4. Until very recently I've gotten a ton of Right Wing propaganda pop ups on this site. Things like, "Is the media fair to Trump? Take this quiz!".
  5. So that was Joe’s attempt at “lighting a fire” under the team? Seemed pretty canned.
  6. No sir. That’s a distinction held by LaTroy Hawkins.
  7. Javy slapping a base hit the other way is a good sign.
  8. In Boston, Cora just pulled his reliever in the 8th after 17 pitches with 2 outs and on a 3-2 count-not injury related. Next reliever comes in and throws 1 pitch to walk the guy. Can’t remember if I’ve seen that.
  9. Adbert and Chatwood coming up.
  10. I’ve thought about Tyson Chandler as a good comp too, but he’s a lot more athletic than Okafor. Gafford could be a G league guy, but his ceiling is way higher than Portis. His first step driving against big guys is quick. Big, athletic defenders like Naz Reid or Miss State’s center dominated him, though. He has to play the 4.
  11. He doesn't have the energy on court as Noah did. He's a human highlight reel of dunks and blocked shots, though. Again, if he could be taught some plays like the pick and roll to go along with his open court game, he could be really good.
  12. Not much to lose at pick #41 in the draft, but you guys got a huge upside guy in Daniel Gafford. He primarily a monster finisher, shot blocker and rebounder at this stage but coud be great with some actual coaching. He's a late bloomer guy and was not going to get any better under Mike Anderson at Arkansas. Potentially a great pick and roll guy, runs the floor well and might develop into a Marcus Camby type player.
  13. So based on current trends of Giolito doing well against bad offenses, he should shut down the Cubs tonight?
  14. Why are the Father’s Day hats tie-dyed? Still it would have been a great opportunity to pull these out of the closet.
  15. "I'm forever near a stereo saying, 'What the horsefeathers is this garbage? And the answer is always the Red Hot Chili Peppers'" -Nick Cave
  16. I just don’t understand this narrative that Almora sucks in CF.
  17. ARod is the worst. https://twitter.com/keithlaw/status/1137887033563762688?s=21
  18. Is that a normal thing in a team option? That doesn’t sound common. Since our team doctor has a 3 star Yelp rating it makes sense for us to do this. Literal LOL
