    Pulling a reverse-UMFan here, but the Cubs have had a 3-14 stretch, a 10 game losing streak, and a 9 game losing streak, in total encompassing a 3-33 stretch in which they were outscored by 134 runs. For the rest of the season, they've been 37-24 with a +69 differential (yes, 21 of that was in one game).

    This US u20 team is dominating every opponent. Shame they didn't get a shot at Mexico, but they did play Canada, Costa Rica, Honduras and Cuba, which was effectively 4 of the top 8 teams in the region.

    Ha - relegation to create a "Big 10" and "Little 10"? Yep, Big Ten and other 10. Increase the # of high profile games in the conference, keep up the "Big Ten" moniker, incentivize the top schools to keep playing hard to the end, and guarantee a Michigan-Ohio State game every year (as long as neither finishes at the bottom of the conference).

    At this point, I'm expecting the Big Ten to expand to 20 teams, then split each sport into two 10-team divisions based on team quality that can vary year-to-year, so the top 10 division can still be referred to unironically as the "Big Ten"

    They have the Dallas market, which is effectively unattainable by the B1G at this point. As for the B1G waiting on ND before going to Washington/Oregon, I'm wondering if the B1G will look at other ACC teams if ND agrees to join, shoot for a UNC or some ACC rival that ND wants to maintain.
