  1. That was a creative call. At that point, your best friend is the clock, so you call a play that takes as long as possible to run and still leaves the clock running after all is said and done. That play call ate another 5-10 seconds off the clock, so that by the time the Eagles got the ball back, they had maybe 2 plays to work with.
  2. As of right now I hate the automatic stoppage at the 2 minute warning.
  3. I'd still run it here, at worst you force them to take their last TO.
  4. It's all up to the D to hold them now. Crap.
  5. Booker was open and he threw it out of bounds. That he got rid of it was smart, that he threw it away wasn't. Nice to see 3 points here, they needed 7 though. D will need to hold them. Booker wasn't open when he had to throw it. He broke free after the ball was in the air already.
  6. I'm glad Orton is in there to run a mistake-free offense, though.
  7. So, the offense, then...
  8. Hester should be benched for not making Akers miss. :P
  9. Bears in prime position now to drive for a TD and take a double-digit lead into the 4th...
  10. I imagine Akers has the range for a 30 yard FG.
  11. Ok, now just somehow cause them to get a 25-yard loss on this play, and the defensive gameplan comes to fruition...
  12. I think he was trying a swim move on the defensive lineman. Maybe he was confused.
  13. Number of plays before McNabb attacks Graham with a pass?
  14. Nice block St. Clair.
  15. I like the idea of Lilly at Dodgers stadium. It's a best-case scenario for his pitching style. I think Cubs in 4, dropping one of the first two to cause mass panic in the city.
  16. Bears defensive strategy: Keep forcing them to attempt 45+ yard FGs.
  17. Not a good tackle by Tillman, but I'm concerned about his neck/back from how that hit looked.
  18. The "let's not take a safety this drive" play call on 3rd and 11 from the 1.
  19. I suppose the 4 is better than letting them down it at the 1 if it somehow rolled there...
  20. That was a "right place, right time" interception if I have ever seen one.
  21. Another nice punt.
  22. Good first half, still don't think they'll blow a double digit fourth quarter lead this time.
