1) No, just have to keep track of point limit and exempt players yourself. 2) Keeper points are based on the total number of points a player earned last year (unless exempt)

Korver is more than a 3-point shooter. He's actually defending well in Thibs' system, is a decent passer out on the wings, and has an amazing adjusted net +/- when he's out on the floor, especially with the first team (the Rose/Korver/Deng/Boozer/Gibson lineup is awesome).

Looks like according to this we still should have wished we got Redick instead of Brewer. That said, I am not going to scoff at having the 17th best bench player in terms of WP82. I included JR Smith there because he's another trade target. I wish we got Redick instead of Bogans.

Of those 4 teams, is Charlotte the only one that's beaten the Bulls twice? Knicks too. Haven't even played the Hawks yet, which is a little weird at this point in the season.

I'm nitpicking, but if the season doesn't pass without a deal, then it's 100% for the Cards or collusion. I'm sure you know what I meant which is that as of right now I see it was 95-5. If the deadline passes, and no deal is signed in season, I would put it as 70-30. Nitpick away though, it was poorly worded. It was either that or you thought there was a 5% chance of either collusion or Pujols signing an NHL contract or something during the year. ;)

Just as an FYI, this was my general line of thinking with that roster: After I fell out of playoff contention, I dumped most of my high-points guys and tried to stockpile exempt guys in an effort to trade for high-points guys that other teams couldn't afford at the end of the year. However, there's not much of a chance to do that now, so you're kind of stuck with a bunch of young guys that may or may not pan out as players. You should also have an extra 3rd rd draft pick as the result of a trade.

Cleveland was mathematically eliminated from the Central division race yesterday. That has to be one of the earliest eliminations in NBA history. More sad Cleveland facts: - Cleveland has trailed in the 4th quarter in 54 of their 55 games this year. - Of the 9 wins they do have, 3 were on buzzer-beaters, and two were in OT. - Their largest margin of victory is 8 points. They've lost 10 games by fewer than 8 points, 4 of those in the last two weeks.

Actually, Kevin won in his first year in the league after trading me his first round pick. Technically, I traded down 10 picks for...someone, I forget now. Jason Bay, some pitcher and Jordan Zimmerman, who I later flipped for Austin Jackson and Pablo Sandoval.

Pessimistic spin: 6 of the Bulls last 8 losses have come to the 20-34 Clippers, the 17-38 Nets, the 26-28 76ers, the 23-31 Bobcats (twice), and the 24-29 Warriors. Also teams less likely that the Bulls will see in the playoffs. :) To be fair, they're 27-8 in that stretch. Mostly I wanted to post that before the rough swing the next 10 games (Spurs, Heat, at Hawks, at Magic, at Heat), because I think they'll lose at least 2, likely 3 of them.

Today's stat that likely only interests me: The Bulls have lost just twice to winning teams since December 3: at NY on Christmas, and at Portland last week.
