Bulls' next 7 games involving the teams in the southeast. One road game each against the Southeast division, intermingled with home games against New Orleans and Atlanta. This is really the last extended tough stretch, and it'd be nice to go at worst 4-3, and preferably 5-2 or better. If the Bulls are going to have any hope at all of catching Miami and Boston, though, they can't go 0-3 at the end of this week in Atlanta, Orlando and Miami.

Seeing as we still likely will finish with the 3 seed, I'm fine with the Knicks figuring a way out of the 6 seed, and I'm more than fine with the Heat feeling less confident against 'good' teams. The more likely way the Knicks figure a way out of the 6 seed is to drop to the 7 seed.

On the one hand, nice to see the Heat lose again. On the other hand, just what the Knicks need, more press.

4 1st rounders the next 2 years, potentially. Charlotte's first rounder is lottery protected next year, and gradually gets less protected year by year.

Setting up very well for a BYU #1 seed. They likely have earned it, too.

It was all on the back of Garnett and Marbury, for sure, but that was one awful game. The only thing he had in double figures was turnovers. In case you were wondering, this was Jordan's most detrimental game, coming in at #523 overall on Paine's list. Kobe's worst came in at #126. Aside from KG, Melo (#8), LeBron (#14), Ray Allen (#17) and Wade (#19) made the top 20. Bosh's night last night was actually #24. Saddest player, though, was Kenyon Martin, who not only had two of the top 13 detrimental performances, he had them in back-to-back playoff games, games 5 and 6 of the NBA Finals against the Spurs.

There has been a discussion going on Basketball-Reference regarding Chris Bosh's detrimental offensive night, and how even an average player/performance would have won the game for the Heat last night. Then the discussion went to the most detrimental performances of all time. According to Neil Paine, this was the most team detrimental performance of all time. See if you can figure out who it was that torpedoed his team on such a massive scale.

Looks like the only transaction will be through a signed buyout player or picking up a free agent. Bulls need to add someone to the roster, since they're a man short for now.
