  1. McClellin played DE for Boise State, but projects to more of an OLB in the NFL.
  2. It's Boise State DE Shea McClellin
  3. Well this one isn't going to be popular.
  4. Chargers probably going DeCastro here, right?
  5. Jets grab Coples. Cross another one off of my Bears wish list.
  6. I am somewhat amused by the fact that every playoff team resting their starters is getting shellacked tonight, except the Bulls, who lead by 22.
  7. If the Seahawks actually wanted Irvin, they probably could have traded further down.
  8. And just think, if the Bears hadn't won week 17, it'd be their pick now.
  9. The Bulls have played the first game on the first day of the playoffs two years running, and I don't see any reason that it'd be different this year, unless the Knicks fell to the 8 seed and ABC wanted to bump it to prime time.
  10. Yeah, both the Heat and Bulls will have around a 40 hour turnaround from their last regular season game to their first playoff game, which seems a little rushed, especially considering neither knows their opponent for sure (although Philly is almost certain to do their best to lose tonight to assure the 8 seed). Also, due to the weird schedule this year, Cleveland hasn't played in Chicago at all yet.
  11. Eh, I'm of the opinion that Pro Bowls and All-Star games are a relic from an era where you'd need to see an All-Star game to get a chance to see most of those players play in a given year, with limited TV deals and no internet exposure. These days, it just makes more sense to award an All-Star team in name only, and just do it to recognize players that excel in their positions. Especially in the NFL, where being named an All-Pro is already a bigger deal than being named to the Pro Bowl.
  12. NBA Finals home court: - Bulls win a tiebreaker with Spurs - Thunder win a tiebreaker with Heat - Pacers win a tiebreaker with Lakers - Clippers win a tiebreaker with Hawks - Grizzles win a tiebreaker with Hawks - Nuggets win a tiebreaker with Celtics and Magic - Mavs win a tiebreaker with Magic and Sixers - Knicks win a tiebreaker with Mavs and Jazz - Jazz win a tiebreaker with Sixers
  13. The LaHair-balls?
  14. The Clippers were unable to beat a Knick team trying to lose, so now Memphis is in good shape for first round home court, and the Knicks need only a win against Charlotte or a Philly loss to Detroit to get the 7 seed. The only matchups (including home court) completely clinched tonight: (1) San Antonio vs (8) Utah, and (3) Indiana vs (6) Orlando.
  15. It looks like the Knicks are purposely trying to lose tonight to get the 8 seed, after being up 17 midway through the 4th. They pulled all the starters and have stopped playing any semblance of defense.

    Week 4

I'm going to need whatever points Neftali Feliz earns in a relief appearance removed because Texas is freaking stupid.
  17. Yeah, they'll probably get swept by a lifeless Magic team. Hey, that lifeless Magic team recovered to stomp a 7-58 Charlotte team by seven.
  18. Somehow, in a game that Orlando absolutely has to win, they're leading Charlotte at home by 1 in the 3rd quarter.
  19. Well, he's an offensive upgrade over Brandon Paul.
  20. Playoff situations, now that all teams are officially in: East - Bulls clinched the 1 seed - Heat clinched the 2 seed - Pacers clinched the 3 seed - Celtics clinched the 4 seed, but must beat Milwaukee and have Atlanta lose to Dallas to get home court advantage in the first round - Hawks clinched the 5 seed, but must either beat Dallas or have Boston lose to Milwaukee to get home court advantage in the first round - Magic clinch the 6 seed with a home win over Charlotte, which is so likely it has a negative mathematically adjusted chance of not happening. - Knicks clinched a playoff spot and win the tiebreaker over Philly for 7th and have a magic number of 2 (NY: vs LAC, @CHA; PHI: @MIL, @DET) - Sixers clinched a playoff spot and has a magic number of 3 for the 7 seed with 2 to play, and thus needs help. West - Spurs clinched the 1 seed - Thunder clinched the 2 seed - Lakers clinched the 3 seed - Clippers clinch the 4 with either a win at New York or a Memphis loss vs Orlando - Memphis can get the 4 seed with both a win vs Orlando and a Clippers loss at New York - Denver has the inside track for the 6 seed but wins no tiebreakers with Dallas or Utah, and can still finish 8th (Remaining: @OKC, @MIN) - Dallas wins all the tiebreakers and can finish no worse than 7th (Remaining: @ATL) - Utah loses the tiebreaker to Dallas and thus can finish no higher than 7th ahead of Denver if Denver loses (Remaining: vs POR)
  21. Boston's scrubs beat Miami's scrubs, so the Bulls have mathematically clinched the 1 seed in the East.
  22. Miami leads Boston 34-28 at the end of the first quarter half.
  23. Chelsea somehow 15 minutes from advancing.
  24. Looks like Bowden is thrilled to be on the Cubs: http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20120423/sports/704249965/
  25. He's being both purposely (and obviously) obtuse, and sadly prevalent about the situation of the Cubs' offense. Although, the offense can generally score 3 in a pinch.
