  1. Great job on that drive, "Matty Ice." Idiot.
  2. lol, fallen off? yah, if INT's is how you measure a good QB, and it isn't. He's first in completion %, second in TD's, third in passing yards. To be fair, passing yards isn't a really good way to measure how good a QB is either.
  3. Come on, Falcons. Get a TD.
  4. Pass interference on both teams? I've never seen that before.
  5. Why does Gruden always have to include "this" before saying somebody's name? "This Mike Smith sure is a great football coach." ahhhhhhhhh shut up.
  6. Silas is pretty good, but the rest of the team could probably be beaten down by an average YMCA team.
  7. Hochuli's crew is an embarrassment to football.
  8. Wonder how Giants fans feel about this... I'd love it, but the timing of that last quote is extremely odd. He sure seems to say some really stupid [expletive].
  9. As soon as Coughlin was burning his final timeouts with so little time left in the game, I wanted them to go with a play action deep pass and sure enough, they did. Don't burn your timeouts when you're down by 3 TD's with 4 minutes left in the game.
  10. So I posted on Facebook that I had enough money from Christmas to go to a possible playoff game at either Chicago or St. Louis. One of my friends was selling two tickets to the Giants game for a reasonable price ($200 for two tickets). I bit the bullet and decided to go to one of the more important regular season games we've had in recent memory. That was the first time I've been to Lambeau during a regular season game and that was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. I went to a preseason game, pre-renovation, about ten years ago but obviously nothing really compared to a game with playoff implications on the line. That drive back would've sucked if we lost that game, but it was obviously well worth it. Now hopefully the Vikings win tomorrow so the Bears clinch the bye and we see plenty of Todd Collins on Sunday.
  11. All I can find is a sportstales.com report, which is just a website of madeup stories and spam, and posting by a chicagonow.com blog. There's nobody semi-legitimate that has even mentioned Tressel's name today. Yeah, I saw the chicagonow post and figured that it was reputable. If I jumped the gun, you can take me out back and shoot me. my bad.
  12. Um, wow. Jim Tressel is stepping down from tOSU after the Sugar Bowl. Sounds like he's pulling a Pete Carroll.
  13. Somebody made a really nice outlet pass to Watson on the break and instead of going up for a layup, he was worried that his attempt would get blocked and decided to pull it back out to the perimeter. Korver threw up a wild shot on a transition opportunity and we missed quite a few easy bunnies from both Rose and Boozer today. We're also way too unselfish. There were multiple instances today where we'd pass up a great, wide-open look for something that wasn't quite as good, and we had quite a number of turnovers come off of those opportunities. Again, it is only one game. But it seems like every loss we have follows the same script.
  14. The Bulls three point defense is really atrocious. Again, that's what happens when you don't guard the perimeter. And do we have the scouting report on Gallinari? Wide open three after wide open three. I'm also convinced we miss more layups and transition baskets than any other team in the league. It seems like we have to work much harder than most teams on the offensive end as well. At least we were playing a good defensive team today, right?
  15. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE
  16. I think we have our answer as to what bad team McCarthy will find a way to lose to next season. And if it's not Carolina, it'll certainly be Denver.
  17. As usual, the suspensions will hurt the team and the university more than the individuals involved. It's Ohio State. What exactly are they going to do? I don't see them leveling out a USC-type penalty for these infractions.
  18. The problem is they fold way too often down the stretch in tight games.
  19. Yep. That kind of kills his argument, although the extra game for the Ohio State guys could be costly seeing how they miss the game against Michigan State.
  20. I knew working with a guy from Columbus would pay off eventually. Seeing his reaction after realizing what happened was priceless. He brought up a good point, though. Why did AJ Green only get suspended for a game for something very similar to what all five of these guys did? Better yet, why did Cam Newton go unpunished when his dad wanted teams to bid for the services of his son? The NCAA really needs to find out what the word 'consistency' means.
  21. Yeah, they played this at the UC during the Clippers game. Awkwardddddddd.
  22. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3653/3390182310_f86c82cb95.jpg Never gets old.
  23. Pretty much. We're all dopes.
  24. And to think I was a Vikings win from all but forgiving the douche. I'm a big Corey Wooten fan now. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/12/22/favre-to-peppers-beat-the-packers/
  25. And I'm also pretty sure that everyone hated the Noah pick at the time.
