  1. Just like Bill Wirtz, Al Davis needs to die before the Raiders can get good again.
  2. Everybody said we'd beat the Cardinals last year too and that didn't work out so well. I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances on Sunday but nothing more than that.
  3. Then we're talking Packers/Falcons in the Georgia dome, and that's a great matchup. For the Falcons. They'd poo all over them. A below average pass defense against us? Bring them on. If Rodgers doesn't fumble at the 1, we probably beat them in the regular season. Their run game would obviously have me concerned, though. But I hope it just gets to the point where I'm worrying about the Falcons. You guys barely beat a Bears team that couldn't give a [expletive] yesterday. A Bears team that will probably also be pooed on by Atlanta. Come on, you're better than that. If they pulled their starters, I could see that argument. But it's pretty apparent that they gave a [expletive] yesterday. It doesn't change the fact that our offense played like a big, steaming pile of doo-doo but we still won the game. And I think the Bears could beat Atlanta too.

  5. I wouldn't either. A team traveling out west in front of that type of environment, and Hasselbeck should be good to go as well. I'm sure New Orleans is still going to win, but it definitely wouldn't surprise me if Seattle won. Well if Hasselbeck plays I would be surprised if Seattle wins. He's still an upgrade over Whitehurst. Talk about the definition of "noodle arm." Our offense matches up extremely favorably with the Eagles defense. Right now, I'd say their defense is even more banged up than ours. If McDermott's going to blitz his ass off like the Giants did last week, I think Rodgers is going to have himself a day. Anytime you go up against a guy like Vick, though, it's a reason to be concerned. I'm hoping Capers comes into Philly with the same gameplan he attacked the Bears with yesterday. It'd be nice if we can avenge the playoff loss against Vick and the 4th and 26 debacle all in one game.
  6. I don't miss that at all.

  8. Not sure what you guys were watching, but I saw quite a few three-step and even one-step dropbacks from Cutler. I've watched almost every Bears game this year and I can't remember any defense having much success on stopping the short dropbacks from the Bears, but we did a really good job of taking that part of the passing game away. Both defenses were about as good as possible for 60 minutes yesterday, vanilla or no vanilla.
  9. He's owned us for the past few seasons, it seems.
  10. Another regulation loss, despite outshooting the Ducks by a 2 to 1 margin. We're on pace for about 87 points, as of right now. Yuck. On a bright note, Toews should be back tomorrow night.
  11. You know DMac is a senior, right? I'm aware. I just expected this level of play out of Demetri. I am enjoying the crap out of him, I really hope he gets a better shake than Frankie did in the League. If McCamey doesn't get fat, he'll get his shot and then some.
  12. Nice, thanks. Hope you enjoyed winning at Stanford, Mr. Luck. Things gonna be a tad bit different in Carolina. Everybody was saying the same thing about Sam Bradford. That's what happens when you're drafted by the first team in the draft... Although I get what you're saying. Good luck against the Falcons, Saints, and Bucs twice a year.
  13. This is the Illinois team that I hoped to see this year. Finish strong, please.
  14. Packers-Eagles is apparently the Sunday FOX game. Earlier in the week, Eagles season ticket holders were told that the playoff game would be on Saturday night. Whoops.
  15. THANK GOD. Hopefully we'll see you in the NFC Title Game.
  16. Bears are definitely scoring here. [expletive] this.
  17. Pull everybody now, please.
  18. McCarthy is such a stupid fat ass.
  19. Why don't you just go back to mamby pamby land! wtf?
  20. Again, we'd be losing to the Bears third stringers right now too.
  21. no it wasn't. and the roughing the passer call was shameful Look at it again. He dragged the second foot in before he went out. That's a [expletive] shameful no-call.
  22. That was a catch and they didn't even review it.
  23. What an abortion to referees.
  24. lol at those Bears fans that said Lovie was a worse coach than McCarthy.
