  1. I'm nervous. This is playing like all of our low scoring losses. I think McCarthy's seat would be getting incredibly warm. It should be, but it won't.
  2. And the Bears just got away with a hold near the sideline on the punt.
  3. And our line has reverted back to the [expletive] we saw early on in the year. Congrats.
  4. Back to the drive-killing penalties. This has "Mike McCarthy Special" written all over it.
  5. Yes, please get Cutler out right now.
  6. Good, bench him please.
  7. oh come on, the packers are going to win big It's either that or we're going to lose a close game. There's no in between.
  8. Is Maryland that much better of a gig than UConn? That seems like a neutral move at best. Money.
  9. y'all just need to take care of your own business. Quit crying about the Aints. True. There's something wrong with us when I'm not confident in a "win and in" situation. If you're not confident in the team beating a Bears team with nothing to play for than you won't be confident that we'll have to win at Philly and probably Atlanta and Chicago (We haven't won a playoff road game in forever). That's helping me be calmer about this game. Playoff football is better than no playoff football though. This is what I'm not understanding right now. I've seen so many Packers fans pessimistic about today's game, yet when you mention road playoff games at Philly and Atlanta we get the whole "we dominated Philly in Week 1 and should have beat Atlanta in Week 12" deal. I think the mindset for those types of fans is that half the battle is just getting into the playoffs. If we do reach the playoffs, I think people won't be expecting as much and probably hoping that we play pretty loose in that situation. I'd be just as nervous next week as I am right now if we win this game.

  11. The Saints can screw off after the last two weeks.
  12. congratulations, Packer fans Have you seen our coach? You guys can play all of your third stringers the whole game and we'd probably still find a way to choke.
  13. This game's done.
  14. Oh my god.
  15. Hey Saints, wake the [expletive] up.
  16. Congrats on the Super Bowl and the next NFL dynasty.
  17. I thought of the same thing as soon as I saw that they fired Haywood.
  18. The Houston and LA games that I went to were actually pretty decent crowds. Otherwise, I agree. By and large, the UC crowd is an embarrassment to the Bulls. All of these games are horrible displays of basketball, but I can't complain with wins. I really believe that we're just playing down to our opposition. At least that's what I hope our recent struggles are from.
  19. The way things are going for the Big Ten today, TCU's going to end up winning that game.
  20. It's terrible. For all of the stories about Gruden being a hard ass, he just fellates everyone as an analyst. It's sickening. I used to like Tirico too before he became the PBP guy for MNF. Either he's gotten much worse or I just think less of him for the job he does every Monday night. Gruden is bringing everyone down. I still like Tirico but Gruden is the worst. And Jaws has his place but he also can't be counted on to be critical. I think Jaws is actually the worst out of that cesspool. This broadcast actually hasn't been as bad as I thought, probably because there's no Jaws.

  22. Wow, SIU beat UNI on a last second shot by Carlton Fay to win it. Northern Iowa obviously took a step back from last year, but that's still a very surprising win over a team that's supposed to finish 2nd or 3rd in the MVC.
  23. Looks like I'll have to watch the Outback Bowl on mute. Tirico and Gruden? Brutal.
  24. I've heard quite a few people say that. I'm probably in that camp too. It's hard to argue with what he's done at Stanford.
