  1. big for Fresno, they need 7 that drive. Lets hope for another good defensive stand.
  2. 1st and goal at the 3! Please don't screw this up.
  3. Fresno will start at the USC 16!
  4. USC with a 3 and out
  5. instead they punt :x
  6. going to be 4th and 4 for Fresno at the USC 40 to start the 4th. You have to go for it IMO.
  7. Fox Sports Net :x
  8. even if Fresno scores, they are still going to have to stop USC's offense which hasn't happened so far in the 2nd half. USC having to go more than 30-40 yards will help. yeah true, Fresno's offense has helped USC get their scores so far this half. Let's go Bulldog D.
  9. even if Fresno scores, they are still going to have to stop USC's offense which hasn't happened so far in the 2nd half.
  10. i hate USC SO much.
  11. TD USC...
  12. There should be a rule against picking an at-large team before the conference champion from that same conference. Then again, there should be a playoff. That begs the question: What eight teams would play in a playoff now? I'll assume a USC loss just for the sake of argument. 1 - Texas 2 - USC 3 - Penn St 4 - LSU 5 - Va Tech 6 - Ohio St 7 - ND 8 - Oregon That's how it would appear to stack up were we to use the BCS standings. Can you imagine? A USC/ND rematch in the quarterfinals? PSU/OSU going at it again in the quarterfinals? A possible ND/PSU matchup in the semis? Texas/LSU? WHY isn't there a playoff? its a shame there is no playoffs. Division I-AA has the playoffs and it ensures that there is one true champion. But thanks to all of the sponsors and everything, and the NCAA being too money hungry, we'll never see a playoff system in Division I-A.
  13. 21-13 with Fresno on top at halftime.
  14. I may be wrong but I don't think a USC loss will help ND. It will take up another at large. Also if they do lose, will they move down any furthur than 2? It's a nonconference game, so as long as USC beats UCLA next week they will still win the Pac 10 and get the automatic bid. Will they drop past PSU with a loss? I dunno, but I would like to find out. And Ronnie makes a good point as well that I forgot about completely. :) well lets hope they lose to UCLA next week to really make things messed up
  15. ugh i HATE that Dish pulled Fox Sports Net off almost a year ago. I can not believe I'm missing this game.
  16. Penn State going to the title game after 3 or 4 years of calls for JoePa's head would be one of the greatest stories in the history of college football IMHO. hey at least there's hope for Illinois if Penn State can recover from that mess they had a few years ago
  17. not surprising at all, Fresno St has always been known as a school that thrives on offense and doesn't have much defense.
  18. Miami now may play in the Fiesta instead of OSU. Depends on which game is more attractive. ND/Miami would stir up some real memories for many fans :D I don't think Miami has a shot over OSU. Miami fans do not travel, and the Buckeyes have some of the best fans in sports. They wuld be a better boost to the local economy than the Canes. Plus, Irish, Buckeyes would be pretty great, too. The Buckeyes do deserve it more anyway. Both of there losses were to top 3 teams by a combined 10 points. yep if Miami gets in over OSU, there's something very very wrong. Miami has looked like a top team at times, but they were awful in the 1st game of the year against FSU and tonight they weren't very good either. OSU on the other hand played like garbage on special teams today, yet they were still good enough to beat Michigan. Not to mention they were in close games with Texas and PSU.
  19. 14-7 Fresno St :D
  20. DePaul opens up on a bad note, losing to Bradley by 15. Bradley will be a favorite however for the Missouri Valley conference this year.
  21. Northwestern could've pretty much sealed up the game if they scored on that drive there...they went for it on 4th and 1 at the Illinois 5 and came up short. 31-21 Northwestern late in the 3rd.
  22. make that 21-14 NU.
  23. Illinois is actually playing NU close, 14-14 in the 2nd. Iowa all over Minnesota, 35-7. Ohio St. leads Michigan early 6-0.
  24. good starts last night for Illinois and Southern Illinois. NIU plays Mizzou St. tonight and they aren't that bad of a team. I'm afraid of NIU getting blown out tonight :(
  25. this alone proves that Hendry can overspend with the best of them.
