But...their record. Good and bad baseball teams will be capable of hovering around .500 for 80 games because baseball is weird. I'm not saying there aren't any causes for legitimate concern, but to me, basically being .500 with lots of things going pretty damn badly (I won't say worst case, because that would be like everybody being out for the season or something) is almost a testament to the talent on this team. My concern is that they don't do anything well. Maybe walk, but that's about it. They don't hit well, they don't pitch well -- it's not like there's a huge outlier between their record and the way they're playing.
