  1. Thank you very much. I'll be here all day. Help is on it's way in 2007. Why does anyone think this guy is a good QB? Because he is? (I'm assuming you're talking about Quinn.) He played pretty damn good yesterday. His stats were ruined by about 7 drops of perfectly thrown balls, and he was jumping around avoiding sacks all game and still did nothing to lose the game. Not his fault the defense blows and his receivers crapped out in the biggest game of the year. I *think* he is talking about Aaron Brooks.
  2. I guess the Grossman comparisons to Favre are dead on. That was a throw that Favre would've made.
  3. Why couldn't the Pats have played this bad last week?
  4. Vince Young is GOD. And the Giants are collapsing at will as they may not even make the playoffs now.
  5. Don't understand that call. A couple of first downs for the Pats virtually will end this game.
  6. Vince Young with another amazing comeback as he leads the Titans down the field to tie the game at 21.
  7. Ok, tell me why Benson is not the starter on this team???
  8. So that is somehow PI, but the one earlier in the game wasn't? Wow.
  9. If you're talking about Illinois State, they play Youngstown State.
  10. Haha, these refs are so biased. That was a late hit? Wow.
  11. I don't think I've mentioned this in quite a while, but I hate Joe Buck.
  12. Yeah that stadium is frickn cool! It doesnt seat alot but its neat looking. I think it only seats a little more than 25K, but they pack that place. And you're right, the stadium is real cool looking.
  13. SIU takes 3rd in the Old Spice Classic as they beat Virginia Tech, 69-64.
  14. Montana is going to be an extremely tough test for SIU. Their stadium is probably the toughest place to play in all of I-AA. And they have made the playoffs 14 straight years. A win for SIU puts them in the Final Four in I-AA.
  15. I'd like to see Arkansas v. Wisconsin, and that may happen in the Cap One Bowl, but more than likely it ends up LSU v. UW. I don't think the Badgers would win, but I think it would be a close, tough, and exciting game. I don't even know what the Cap 1 Bowl is! They keep changing sponsors and I can't keep up, is that a BCS game? It was formerly known as the Citrus Bowl.
  16. What an arrogant classless post. Can I ask what college team you chear for? He's a tOSU fan who went to Illinois, if I remember correctly. Notre Dame's defense wasn't good at all, but the game was closer than the score indicated. ND drove down the field several times on USC that many times did not result in any points. ND isn't as bad as Slick is making it out to be. I think the final score was quite indicative of how close the game was. as much of a problem as the D was, that was expected. what wasn't was the horrendous offensive line play and the drops. Brady also missed a sure TD on that first drive, over threw another easy TD on a fourth down (out of the endzone? WTF?), etc etc. sure the offense drove the ball, but once the field was shortened ND stalled time after time because USC were able to rush four and drop seven back, and still harrass Quinn all night long. ND probably isn't as bad as Slick is making them out to be, but they aren't a BCS team IMO. they are a Wake Forest upset away from having zero victories against top 25 teams, and they had a real struggle against GT. The offensive line was horrendous, especially when USC was only rushing 4 and they were still putting pressure on Brady. McKnight was very good at times, and also extremely bad at times. I think he had 3 drops, which all turned out to be huge. The wideouts for ND were very disappointing IMO with all of the drops that they had in the game. I still think ND deserves to go to a BCS bowl...their two losses only came to the #2 and #3 teams in the nation. Yes they weren't that close, but still you would have a hard time trying to find any other worthwhile teams to take over ND in a BCS game. A 10-2 record is nothing to be ashamed of, especially when those two losses came against two of the three best teams in the country.
  17. Wow, I knew Skiles was strict about the uniform conduct, but come on. I don't want another Flip Saunders on our hands with Skiles.

  19. Does it make me stupid that I played the game for 16 years of my life and don't have a clue as to what the hell y'all are talking about? What the crap is WARP?? it doesn't make you stupid, it makes you ignorant. How is he ignorant? Most of us, I'm assuming, have played baseball on a competitive level at least a couple of years in our lifetimes. I don't see how it's ignorant for some of us to not understand what exactly "WARP" is. And what Mizzou said is right. It seems like people focus more on stats than they do the actual game. I have no problem with people using stats to make their judgment on a player, but I also think it's wrong for people who use those stats to flat out criticize people who don't use them. For example, by saying that they are "ignorant" and that "you don't know what you're talking about" when you don't use those stats. Do you know what "ignorant" means? I'm discovering quickly that most people don't. Yeah, I know what ignorant means. Here are some examples that I found on the web: uneducated in the fundamentals of a given art or branch of learning; lacking knowledge of a specific field; "she is ignorant of quantum mechanics"; "he is musically illiterate" uneducated in general; lacking knowledge or sophistication; "an ignorant man"; "nescient of contemporary literature"; "an unlearned group incapable of understanding complex issues"; "exhibiting contempt for his unlettered companions" Basically backing up my belief of what the word means. I still think that it's an attack, but I can see how you can say otherwise.
