By all the reports I've read, yes. Barnett will either be traded or released. GB has a lot of money tied up at inside linebacker between Bishop and Hawk, and Barnett was merely the odd man out. Unless he's willing to take a major paycut, and possible backup role, I do not see him being back. I meant his career, he only played 4 games last season before a wrist injury. Definitely not. I think he'll go back to a 4-3 scheme, which fits him much better than the 3-4 did. The wrist injury isn't one that should hurt his career long-term. He still has several good years of football left in him. He was one of my favorite defensive Packers throughout my teenage years, so it does kind of suck to lose him even though everyone saw it coming. As long as he goes to a team outside of the division, I'll definitely root for him. The same applies to Cullen Jenkins too. Mason Crosby was re-signed for five years. He had a disasterous 2009 season, but rebounded well last year. One less thing to worry about.
