    This damn game shouldn't have even been in OT. Awful rotations by Skiles, especially in the 4th, led to the Warriors comeback. Still, we should've won in OT, especially with Biedrins and Harrington fouled out. I don't know if we're ever going to win in Oakland.

    Just an awful game. I'm embarassed that I actually was able to see this game tonight. Once again, we need something much more than jump shooters. When they go cold, they go ice cold.

    Yeah, their at-large berth is done now. Ever since we beat them at C'Dale a couple of weeks ago, they've gone into a tailspin. The UNI loss basically guarantees that SIU will be no worse than a 3 seed in the MVC tourney.

    Solid W tonight for SIU as the Salukis pick up their 20th win on the season, defeating Bradley 60-50. Tony Young had 25. We led by as much as 19 in the first half, but just like the Wichita State game, we let them back into it. Still, a solid win for us. SIU hosts Creighton on Saturday at 5:00 on ESPN2. I'm glad I got my ticket in advance because the game has been sold out since Monday.

    I'm really looking forward to the Southern Illinois-Butler game. As am I. But first, wee need to take care of business this week against Bradley and Creighton.

    So, you forfeit a draft pick? I don't know that much about NFL free agency other then a restricted player's original team has so long to match a deal. I didn't realize that you had to give up draft picks though?!?! In Restricted Free Agency, you (usually) have to give up a draft pick. For the bigger names, it can cost up to 1st rounder.

    Oh, and we'll throw in Aaron Rodgers for a 7th round pick.

    I hope not. There are holes at other places and those two QBs have warts that will take too long to fix, hopefully Grossman improves but I'd definitely give him next year to progress. I hope not either. Hopefully the Pack drafts one of Smith or Stanton.

    You think the Cubs are going to help your sorrows? Hey Packers fans, I now understand your hatred of John Elway. It makes perfect sense after tonight's debacle. Ugh. That being said, I really believe it was only a matter of time before Peyton won a Super Bowl. He's had great teams around him year after year; teams that can legitimally call themselves Super Bowl contenders. At least you guys didn't lose to Peyton when he was in his mid-30s like we did to Elway.

    Making the Super Bowl is an accomplishment enough. It was a pretty good game until Grossman threw those two picks in the 4th. Still, you guys shouldn't be disappointed with the season. But I definitely know what all of you are going through. Now we can focus solely on basketball and pitchers and catchers reporting :D :D :D

    Not even close. :? As a non-Bears fan, are you even qualified to chime in? Hmmm... :wink: Still, just making it to the Super Bowl is an achievement. A Super Bowl loss wouldn't come close to equalling how painful the 03 NLCS was.
