no but uk losing to florida is fine because uk beat l'ville, uk beat lsu who beat vt. this isn't something that is hard to understand. if a conference performs better when they play out of conference, then when they play in conference there's a better argument for beating up on each other. the sec did fine out of conference, so when the play each other they beat up on each other. the little ten laid an egg outside of conference, so when they play each other its crap over crap. The Big 10 is horrific this year. I don't know how anyone can argue that the Big 10 is anywhere close to the SEC.

There wasn't a hold or a tackle. Fred Miller got his arm around the defender like it was going to be a hold, but he never got a grip. And while Miller did spin him a bit, the defender never went down to the ground. If he had, there likely would have been a flag thrown. lol..just re-watched it myself...it wasn't even remotely close to a hold. How do you explain this quote in the Trib: There's no question it was a hold. But the Eagles deserved to lose that game anyway.

Yeah, you had to think something was up when the Bears scored a TD with under 2 minutes and 97 yards to go. I guess no offensive coordinator is better than Ron Turner.

Illinois should roll all over Ball State. Those ranked games look real good. Another good Thursday nighter this week as well.

Interesting, ASU at #2. lol @ NIU being the last I-A team on there. They have had something like 21 injured players this year, but even when they were somewhat healthy, they still sucked. Embarrassing year.

Went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch that game along with the Illini game. Hawks were in total control in the 3rd period. It seemed like they were in the Leafs zone the whole period. Very impressed with the comeback today. It was nice to see so many different guys step up today.

Probably the best part of the game. I hate ref-bashing as much as the next guy, but if you have a disparity that big in terms of penalties, something isn't quite right there. That was just a brutal game. Juice showed some glimpses early on, but then when Illinois got behind, he just tried to rifle every pass as hard as he possibly could. And then to lose the game on a muffed punt return is about as bad as possible. Mendenhall still needs to get more touches. Zook has to find a way to get him at least 30 touches a game. There's no way your best player should only have 16-18 carries a game. Unacceptable.

That Toews goal was absolutely disgusting. Lalime is more than likely going to be in goal tonight. As long as he plays as good as he did against Detroit last week, I feel good about beating the Leafs.

I think they wore green against Navy last year. I could be wrong though. They wore them against Army. This Northwestern-EMU game is pretty bad. ESPNU has the worst announcers imaginable, the crowd is as dead as a crowd can be, and Northwestern is once again playing down to an inferior opponent.

Based on what? And as long as teams keep trying to shut down Rice and making Rutgers QB beat them, opposing teams are going to have success against Rutgers. hmmm what do i know? Yeah, I blew that one. The thing I learned from this game is that Grothe doesn't know how to throw the ball away. Yeesh.
