    Who's going to be your PG. Duhon? We have to play over half the game normally with Duhon as the point since Kirk cant stay out of foul trouble. Duhons shooting is about on par with kirks, and he handles the ball about as well. Im so tired of seeing Hinrich whine and bitch after every single foul that is called on him. If we were to keep Gordon in a deal involving Kobe, just let him run the point. Kobe would make his job much easier by just being out there on the floor. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who's growing more and more annoyed with Hinrich.

    SIU escapes with a 10-9 win over WIU. We did our best to piss the game away, though. With about 1:30 left, we fumbled the ball at the WIU 4. The defense stepped up in a big way and sealed the deal with an INT on a last ditch effort by WIU with 1 second remaining. 8-1 on the season. Win our final two, and we should have HFA for the first 2 rounds.

    agreed. if they want anything to do with barry, they shouldn't voluntarily display stuff mocking him. Its a piece of baseball history. Its not the HOF's fault the ball was branded. what if the guy drew penises and swear words all over it? the HOF doesn't HAVE to display it. they are most definitely making a statement by doing so. I knew that's what it should've been branded with. That's a much better idea than a stupid little asterisk.

    Translation for Bulls fans = We are content with making the playoffs and losing in the 2nd round again, so deal with it. The team as constructed is good enough to win the East. That has more to do with the East than the Bulls, but it's true. No it's not. Everyone's giving Cleveland crap for not improving. We did not improve much either. Joe Smith? Joakim Noah? That's not the difference of winning another playoff series. We can't beat New Jersey. They'd sweep us in a best of 7. Pierce, Allen, and Garnett would get to the line 60 times against us. We can't beat Boston. And Detroit manhandled us in our series against them last year. We're the 4th best team in the East as it stands.

    Getting back on topic here... Wow. It appears that Deng HAS been included in trade proposals, but Kobe has vetoed those trades because he wants to play with Deng. Chris Sheridan has a real good article up on the front page of ESPN.com.

    Here's the thing though. I don't see the Lakers waiting until December 15th to ship Kobe out. It seems like everyone wants him gone, so I see a deal that happens very, very soon.

    ummm, hello? What? All the "report" said was that the specific deal that Bucher mentioned fell through. They are all still talking on a new deal. oh, well i couldn't hear that because i'm at work and the cleaning crew was vacuuming. It's all good.

    Magic Johnson said this won't happen because he needs to get Deng in any deal. Again, he probably just used that for leverage. Kobe has made it clear that he does not want Deng in any trade. Do you think there really is a chance that the deal gets done today? Based on everything I've heard from the Lakers, yes I do. It seems quite clear that they are ready to move on without Kobe. I doubt they let him stick around for another month and a half.

    They could get worse if the Lakers get our entire roster for Kobe. I agree they aren't likely to make a huge leap as they are, but 2nd round playoffs is better than no playoffs or a one-and-done scenario. And if there's no team around Kobe, I could very easily envision a scenario developing where Kobe is hating life, making everyone else miserable, and the team is winning in the neighborhood of 35 games. If that happened then we just gave up the farm for a nightmare. The trade has to be the right trade, or I'd rather it not happen at all. Pax has made it clear he won't gut the team for anybody. I wouldn't worry about giving up too much in any trade.
