I do not feel the same way. Losing to an inferior team like NJ a few yrs ago sucked, but Toronto was a much better team then their record suggests. The fact that they took 3 of 4 from the Bulls this yr should tell you that they played the Bulls very tough this yr. If Calderon was healthy the whole season, they would've easily been in playoff contention. The loss to the Raptors is already out of my mind. That New Jersey loss lingered with me for a few days until we pounded the Heat in Game 1 of the first round on a Saturday.

Awesome...someone feels the same way as me. I won't go as far as to say I hope they lose the games, but they certainly deserve to and I will probably derive some sort of weird pleasure from seeing them getting slaughtered. I guess that makes sense.

Just about a week ago, I thought Boston would have been our "best" matchup but that changed after Orlando really slumped down the stretch. I don't know what happened tonight for the Bulls, but it's obvious they don't have the toughness to compete with Boston in a seven-game series. For the Bulls sake, we have to hope Garnett's knee still isn't at 100%. If that's the case, we might make it a series but the odds of that happening and the odds of making it a series are slim to none.

Why do they insist on killing two birds with one stone? This could be a terrible move. The Sox should just sign Patterson (on the condition Ozzie has to pencil him in at #9 every single game, or face immediate termination) and put Ramirez at "leadoff". They'll at least get fantastic defense and the occasional HR, if nothing else. lol at Alexei Ramirez batting leadoff. Podsednik isn't good at all, but it's not a terrible move seeing how it's a minor-league deal. Plus it's not like Jerry Owens and Dewayne Wise are future all-star CF's either.

Do you think this is the worst of the playoff teams the Bulls have had since the Jordan years? I honestly have no idea. I would probably say yes because the Bulls defense was much much better than in the other 3 seasons. Then again, they probably have the most offensive talent than any of the 4 teams. Alas, defense seems to be more important in the playoffs, so I probably say its somewhere in the middle. But I really have no idea...I cannot believe the Bulls are in this position. They were pretty much left for dead in February and the trade for Miller and Salmons really changed the structure of the team. I felt the worst about this team than any other playoff year. Even in 05-06 when we were hovering around 10 games below .500 before making a run, we still competed every night, played our butts off and played a team game. This team was all me-first, and still is in a way. But it got better once the Bulls started winning a couple of games and built a bit of confidence. The 05-06 team really underachieved the whole season before going on a hot streak to enter the playoffs as a 7 seed. I remember how frustrating that team was to watch because they blew so many double-digit leads over the course of the season. The 04-05 team was the most fun to watch because it was real clear that all the players were giving it their all and the defense that year was phenomenal. If we had a healthy Curry and Deng in the playoffs, we easily beat Washington that year. The Eastern Conference is very top-heavy now, but overall I think it's better than what it was then. I think this team is about even with the 05-06 team just because they took similar paths to get to the playoffs. Also don't forget that team gave the Heat their toughest challenge in the postseason before succumbing to them. We'll find out for sure where this team stacks against the other three Bulls playoff teams from this decade in the next couple of weeks.

It all depends on how the Bulls attack Orlando. If we force Orlando to go to an up-tempo game, I think we'll win the series. I have a lack of confidence in Del Negro being able to outcoach SVG in a seven game series.

That's awesome, but I cannot imagine anything would come out of that. I don't think there's any way he gets drafted - especially by the Packers, who's third string QB (Matt Mauck) is probably better than Paulus right now. He could potentially latch on to a practice squad somewhere, though, and develop into a backup. Matt Mauck? He's nothing more than just roster fodder. Flynn and Brohm are our backups. More than anything, I just think this displays the lack of confidence in them as backups from management and for good reason. They were both horrendous last season. If we're looking for a backup quarterback, just do the inevitable and sign someone like Gus Frerotte or the guy that I want, Rex.

Most likely, but I wouldn't be surprised to see if go 7. I expect the Bulls to win at least 2, though. That's what I think happens too although I wouldn't be shocked if the Bulls managed to win the series.

I understand that, but have they even had anything to play for for a couple weeks? They had the lead on the 2 seed prior to this last stretch. That's huge in the grand scheme of things. Yep. If they had the 2 seed, they would've had HCA against Boston in the 2nd round. They definitely have had something to play for over this last week.

I'm sort of surprised to see people not giving Columbus a chance at all. Of course I think Detroit will take that series, but I think Columbus wins a couple of games and makes it interesting for the Wings.

Orlando lost by 18 at Milwaukee tonight and only scored 80 in the process. They're entering the playoffs ice cold.
