    The guy that had 25 wins picked the Spurs to beat the Hornets; and they lost. Whoops. When you're two wins away from a million, I don't know why you would pick on that game.

    Really, what use is Hinrich for if all he's going to do is be a liability on the defensive end? At least Salmons gives you length and can put the ball in the hoop. That 3 that Hinrich drilled with around two minutes left in regulation was the biggest shot he's hit in his NBA career besides the game against the Heat in the playoffs. How Salmons didn't see the floor the last 8 minutes or so of the game really made absolutely no sense. This one is all pinned on coaching IMO. The plays that were drawn up at the end of regulation (the sequence before BG hit the shot to send it into OT) and the end of OT were horrific.

    4 in a row and 7 of our last 8. Pretty impressive considering its been a couple of years we've had a streak like this. Gordon, Salmons, Tyrus, and Rose were exceptional today.

    Just an FYI, Chung was taken by the Rams with the second pick of the third round. Ah, didn't see that. Then I fully endorse Harris...we'll see what Mark has to offer.

    Defense, defense, defense. With another year under Harris and Woodson's belts, the need for additional secondary help continues to grow. Tramon Williams was one of the extremely few bright spots on defense last season, but depth is key. Safety is a spot where depth is needed as well, especially with Atari Bigby's health in question. I think we need to go secondary here, whether it be corner or safety. Victor Harris, CB out of Va Tech and Patrick Chung, S out of Oregon are my recommendations.

    He was making life miserable for Kobe in the first half on Saturday before VDN decided he wasn't going to play Kirk in the 2nd half. I'm not a Hinrich fan at all but he should've played more in the second half of that game. His defense was outstanding. It's going to be tough to force Wade into two bad nights in a row.

    Wait a few weeks. Yeah, never underestimate the Cubbie game threads. Best swirl of emotion in sports. Read the last two pages in this thread. For a hockey thread, it's pretty close to a May Cubs game. People are already jumping off the ship and writing the team off in the playoffs because they blew a three goal lead against a team with insane firepower that the Sharks have. Oh yeah, we still ended up winning the game too. i only saw one person write the team off for the playoffs... and he wasnt even in the game thread until that post True, but a lot of "expletives" to go along with "Khabibulin sucks" equals overreacting at its finest.
