    Nope, sounds like the Skins are cutting him even with Brennan going on the IR. Apparently they don't even have interest of placing him on the practice squad. Looks like they put him on waivers to see if they'll be able to put him on the practice squad. Yeah, I probably should have said that PFT reported that. Always have to take what that site says with a grain of salt.

    My guy. Still amazes me how he went untouched by every team for as long as he did and now he's barely holding onto a roster spot. He had some real bad habits, but you could see the natural talent that he possesses. I would've loved it if he was our backup this year.

    Browns? He's speculating if they cut him. I agree that Lewis would be the best bet of the backs (that could be cut) for the Bears.

    I'd be for playing him next year with Theriot at 2b. No. I like moving Theriot to 2B, but we're in for some problems if Andres Blanco is the everyday shortstop. As a utility guy, I have no problem with him.

    How is this fun? It's still going to take a miracle to get into the playoffs. I think this sucks but I guess that's just me. We're 4-4 on a homestand where we needed to be 7-1 if we had any shot of catching the leaders in the WC race.

    No it doesn't. Maybe a little, but definitely not a lot. And really, I would say none. They are a top 5 run prevention team. Lou is absolutely right, the problem is the lack of runs scored. It's all on the offense. Yeah, blaming the pitchers is pretty ridiculous. If our offense was just average for the first few months this year, we wouldn't be in the position we are in now.

    I don't know if I'd be able to live anymore if we lost to you guys that deep in the postseason. That said, I've always wanted to see a Bears-Packers NFC Title game. I think six or seven teams in the NFC can logically make the claim that they can win the conference this year.

    That explains a lot. And because of that statement, I don't think he's trolling at all. He really believes the nonsense he's spewing.

    Where did I blame him for the mediocre season the Cubs have had? If you really believed he was just a 'slight disappointment,' you wouldn't be on your soapbox as much as you are concerning Milton. I also love how Milton now has an OPS approaching .820 and people are still bashing it. I guess he needs to have a triple crown type season next year to win the fans back, apparently.
