Yep, that's what I always bring up to the people that say Geo isn't a good defender. The stereotype that Soto isn't good on defense has been planted firmly in many people's heads. I think Soto's defense has actually been pretty solid this season.

Exactly. Pat Hill and Fresno wanted respect so they would basically play anyone, anywhere with no return game. Now it hasn't worked out for them but they were never quite on Boise's recent level. If Boise wants to be in the discussion, they need to play a legit team on the road every year given their cakewalk in the last 8 weeks. That should change a little bit next year when they're in a better conference.

Yeah I don't see how Florida is the number 4 team. 12 rushes for -19 yards?!? How does Brantley have 12 completions for only 31 yards? All their pass plays, that I've seen when I've been watching, have been bubble screens or very short crossing routes.

Best half that we've seen from the Illini football team in a few years. That was quite impressive.

I've been really impressed with Petrino's playcalling so far. The defense actually is getting a pass rush and what do you know? The opposing offense is having trouble throwing downfield. Amazing what happens when you get a rush with your front four.

I'm shocked, a Missouri kicker actually missed a FG. Florida has 15 yards of total offense against [expletive] Miami Ohio and they have 21 points.

Impressive drive for Illinois but of course, they can only settle for 3. Scheelhaase has some wheels.
