  1. I used to mack to this chick named Sadie, she used to be my homeboy's lady. It was 80 degrees when I told that chick please raise up off these n-u-t-s, cause she gets none of these. At ease. Then I just mobbed with the dogg pound feeling the breeze.
  2. When? Last week? After the game the Good Year Blimp said that Rose is a pimp. I'm just glad he didn't have to use his A.K. Fact of the day: The Lakers beat the Supersonics 128 times in 211 total meetings. Better fact: I used to know a chick named Kim and she really could [expletive] all night.

  4. Assume you meant "team" and not "game", but I think the Packers are pretty close to being clearly better than the Bears. Passing game is one of the league's elite. Bears run game is much better, but not enough to make up the difference. I think the Packers are a better team defensively too, especially vs. the pass. But that's a closer contest. Special teams is where the Bears have a huge advantage, though. But if you ask the Packers and most of the free world, they would say the Packers are clearly better (as witnessed by the early picks for the game). That being said, the Bears clearly don't need a miracle to win and they aren't even overmatched in any way.
  5. Congrats to DRose!
  6. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Stocky physique; Kirby Puckett type body; will need to watch. Strong upper body and torso, thick forearms, large and strong hands. Close to physical maturity peak. STRENGTHS: Line drive hitter when locked in. Average runner, average defender, above-average arm. Has line drive power, also ability to lift ball. WEAKNESSES: Inconsistent approach. Struggles to find and maintain stroke; when swing is there so is line-drive oriented pull power. Would be doubles hitter whose gapers turn into home runs at best. SUMMARY: Has some power but needs to find a way to keep level, line-drive oriented swing. Can throw enough, but doesn’t close gaps right now. Needs to prove he can maintain his plate approach; should be a solid every day regular.
  7. Korver again!
  8. If so, who cares who the other 2 are. This is a great trade! Former 1st round pick.
  9. KORVER! Going the eff off right now.
  10. The Bears only had 5 3rd down attempts with more than 5 yards to go. One was after a 3nd and 21 after the Hester illegal block which took away the first down. One was after a 2 yard loss on a throw to Hester and incomplete pass on 2nd and 12. And one was 3rd and 6 from the 9 (Cutler ran in the TD). So, while the boxscore shows 45 rushes for 176 yards, which is only a 3.9 average. That includes 3 Cutler kneel downs, which if you take that out the average goes to 4.3. And the above shows the Bears were clearly able to run the ball whenever they had to.
  11. i don't think you blitz rodgers at all. Bears didn't really blitz last time vs. GB. Dropped 7 in zone and they all did a really good job. LBs and Tim Jennings in particular were strong last time out.
  12. I'm already tired of the "good vs. bad Jay" stuff. How come when Cutler has a bad game, he's "bad Jay", yet when Peyton Manning had his 5 multiple INT games this season it was "oh, he's missing his WRs and he's not familiar with the guys he's throwing to". Seriously? Sure he was without Dallas Clark, but Jacob Tamme averaged nearly 7 catches and 60 yards per game w/ 4 TDs. And he was missing Austin Collie and Gonzalez, a 3rd WR (and 4th option to start the season behind Wayne, Garcon, and Clark) and a guy who hasn't even been healthy in 2 years. Oh, and he still had a future Hall of Famer in Reggie Wayne. Cutler's throwing a group of 5'10, 180lb guys who can't figure out that slants don't work if you run them behind the guy covering you. I understand Peyton has a history of winning and Cutler doesn't. But it's really ridiculous that Jay still gets this rap after what he's been able to accomplish with this group of misfits around him on the offense. His only "bad" games this year besides the Deangelo Hall game, were when he was either sacked 9 times in a half (not his fault), when it didn't matter (who cares?), or when he was trying to lead his team back from a 33-0 deficit (not his fault).
  13. You must have missed the Wildcat plays Only 1 was a bad play, and that was the Forte pass. Don't know why you call that play in a 28-3 game that you are dominating running and passing, but other than that the Bears got a 9 yard run from Bennett and a 3-4 yard run from Taylor out of the wildcat.
  14. Lovie is 8-6 vs. the Packers since taking over. But that goes to 8-4 in games that mattered, with the Bears losing Week 17 this year and that infamous final game of the 2006 season. To break it down. 8-6 overall. 8-4 in games that Bears tried to win 4-3 in Chicago 4-3 in Green Bay (both go to 4-2 if you take out the aforementioned games) 2004- beat a 10-6 GB team on the road. 2005- swept at 4-12 GB team 2006- 26-0 shellacking at GB 2007- swept a 13-3 GB team, giving them 2 of their 3 losses. 2008- 9-7 Bears split with 6-10 GB team, but got blown out 37-3 in the first game (won the 2nd in OT) 2009- swept by 11-5 GB team, by combined 13 points. 2010- split with GB. Won game at home. So, it looks like when Lovie has tried to motivate the team and they were talented enough to compete, he's been able to get the most out of them vs. GB.
  15. Crap, it merged wrong.
  16. I'd prefer Bears and Steelers so the Bears can beat the pants off of Pittsburgh, but I don't think I could handle the 2 weeks leading up to the game. I would probably lose my job from punching someone in the nose.
  17. I will literally shoot my self in the head if its the Steelers and Packers in the Superbowl. Much worse than White Sox/Astros or Cardinals whoever. Bastards around here already counting their 7th ring. Let's go J-E-T-S!
  18. Agreed. Jersey needs to start a new thread and then a mod can merge the two.
  19. Sometimes it's ok to abandon the run. It clearly wasn't going to work yesterday. You can argue they could have run more, but all it would have done is just rest Hasselbeck's arm. I really wonder why they didn't blitz more. I understand the 2nd half of the season they didn't really blitz as much, but they beat the Bears last time by blitzing DBs. I don't think they did that more than twice yesterday. At some point, they had to have nothing to lose and they needed to get some TOs by hitting Cutler making him fumble or making him get rid of the ball quickly, jumping routes, and getting some picks.
  20. Hip injury, wasn't it? I heard the words "hip injury" but didn't know who it was about.
  21. Anybody know what happened to Chris Harris? He didn't play in the 4th quarter from what I saw.
  22. Someone in this thread (I think) said Pennington did it in 2002. Brad Biggs lied on Twitter then.
  23. Didn't read the whole thread, but did anyone know... Cutler is the first QB in NFL history to throw a TD on his first ever playoff pass.
  24. we started just passing it. we should have ran it, we were gashing them. The Hester penalty for illegal block and then the time made it tough to pass.
  25. He actually broke right through like the old Tommie when the Seahawks were on their own one, but Hasselbeck made a quick pass. He's been very aggressive today. Getting doubled a lot. He's allowing Peppers to get 1-on-1 blocking.
