Yeah, the Louis injury is the most concerning. I'm not too worried about Briggs. Expect that he'll play. A little worried about Tillman, but as good as he is, he shouldn't be necessary to have on the field to beat the Seahawks. They are actually a worse passing team than the Bears. And the current version of Sidney Rice doesn't scare me vs. Kelvin Hayden. Not too worried about Spencer, I suspect that he will be able to play. He's kind of a machine. Didn't miss any time last year when it looked like he was seriously injured a couple times (played w/ broken hand). I'm pretty sure Forte won't be able to play for a couple weeks. But not too concerned about that. Bush is fine, and the Bears are going as far as their passing game goes anyway. Forte has been a non-factor actually most of this year, in the run and pass game. Hester is obviously not as vital to the Bears success as he was a few years ago, and provides nothing on offense. If he has to miss, no big deal other than WR depth. Making Sanzenbacher active gives the Bears the same depth they had to start the game today. But Louis is the best OL on this team. May not be saying much, but for a unit that's already not good, taking away their best player isn't going to help. Especially if you're looking at depth of an undrafted rookie (James Brown) and Carimi playing out of position. If either Louis or Spencer is out multiple weeks, may have to hit up the waiver wire for a body. Be interesting to see what the Bears do if they need multiple bodies this week. I'd imagine Cheta Ozugwu is out of a roster spot if the Bears have to go out and get a RB. But other than that, the Bears don't really have any dead space on the roster. Do you cut McCown again? Zach Bowman has been a key special teamer of late, do you get rid of him or McManis? What about Okoye or Toeina? Both have been inactive in recent weeks with the Bears going with only 3 DTs. Bears will be in a tough position if they have to go out and find a 3rd RB or a 7th/8th OL.
