Speaking of BJax, why does he get less playing time in the OF than Vitters? Is he really that much less of a "prospect" than Vitters at this point? Yes. Vitters has a 1 in a million shot to make it. Jackson is 0 in a million.
He also stole a base. If he's not going to walk.....he needs to hit for average. If he's not going to hit for average, he needs to hit for power. If he's not going to hit for power, He needs to steal bases. Got a little of all that today. More would be ideal
The sound the ball makes off his bat...damn. That is a hell of a swing. His batting stance in very reminiscent of Jeff Bagwell http://media.culturemap.com/crop/83/c4/600x450/Jeff_Bagwell_baseball_player_at_bat.jpg Both wear #5 too. I don't know how anyone hits like that.
NOTHING TO DO WITH TALENT, but Dallas Beeler is a Roy Halladay doppelganger. Physically looks like Doc and his delivery was the exact same. Really freaky.
Was Alcantara below average at SS? Or did the presence of Castro and Baez move him off the position? And with his ability to play 2B and CF, there's no reason to trade him. I can't see anyone giving up anything worth getting rid of him.

Dont look now, but Alcantara only has 1 less HR than Baez. Baez's ISOP is less than .200. Alcantara pushing .250 due to the triples. I guess I don't like Baez singles that much anymore.
