Draft tomorrow. I'm really starting to question my strategy. I've been assuming that I would draft Forte with the 3rd pick (Charles, McCoy 1-2), but my PPR league voted to only have 1 starting RB, 2 WRs and a Flex. So the draft will be WR heavy. If I go Forte at 3, my #1 WR will probably be in the Randall Cobb vein. Am I crazy for thinking of going Calvin Johnson at 3? Forte and Cobb vs. Johnson and (if anything like my other draft) Arian Foster could be there. Thoughts?
We have great ST and D for a decade but [expletive] offense. We fire Lovie and lose ST coach, hire an offensive coach then have [expletive] ST and D but great offense. So Bears. Like [expletive] instantly.
[expletive] i guess I'm profiling. I thought I remember Geno being a running QB in college, and I thought I remember seeing Manuel keeping plays alive with his feet last year They are mobile but not really runners. Rodgers is more mobile imo.
perspective If you can even pretend it is important enough to watch, the only "important" part is the first half, and the only truly late part will be the completely meaningless fourth quarter. And Jesus invented DVR.
How many teams? Your TEs and WRs aren't that great, but should be good enough since you have possibly the highest scoring RB and QB, and 2 of your WRs are probably at the back of the top 10 at their position. Love Ellington and Bell as your 2-3 RBs. Don't like the NFC East WRs though. Worry about Jackson with Garcon a 100-catch type on the same team.
Dead on accuracy, except for maybe 1 point. I seem to remember Britton lining up to help Bushrod just as much as Mills, because Bushrod typically had the much better pass rusher.
A friend of mine (Penn St season ticket holder) is leaving Monday for Ireland to go to this game. Suck if it got cancelled or whatever. If he can't have fun in Ireland he's doing it wrong. Nah, he'll be fine. That was just his excuse for going. He actually played professional soccer/futbol in Ireland as a teenager. So he knows people and all that.
