    I wish you guys could have experienced Little Caesar's back in the 60's. It was very good back then. Ahhh so it goes............. the offseason and nothing to discuss but pizza.

    OK, now I know you don't know anything about pizza. Makes me understand. It might be my ego talking but I probably know more about food then anybody else on this forum. Why do you apparently know more about food than anybody else? I was kind of wondering that also............ I've been in the restaurant business for almost 20 years.............well about as long as it has been since I purchased my last Domino's pizza. Pfff...you know nothing, fool. :P You're not the first person to suggest that :lol:

The fact that you would choose Little Caesar's over Giordano's makes me think otherwise. I refuse to eat pizza made by a little man who goes "PIZZA PIZZA!"

    Arod hasn't played shortstop in a while plus he's kind of a young guy - no way he plays if Neifi is still on the team! :wink:

    Haven't been paying much attention but just looked up at gameday and saw Lidge was pitching and he's thrown 22 pitches in a 7-1 game???

    Wow, that is unbelievable. He's been lights out since he got called back up. 1.69 ERA, 0.91 WHIP in 42 2/3 innings. Looks like Ozzie is definitely taking a lesson out of Dusty's playbook-get the vets in there even if it hurts the ballclub. I think the rub is that Marte was virtually kicked off the team at one time and his #'s against lefty's are worse than against righties and that McCarthy has been lights out against lefties. No way does Dusty ever take a veteran loogy who can't get lefties out over a rookie can............oh forget it :wink:

    All the Sox fans are going crazy on WSCR about Marte being on the playoff roster and Brandon McCarthy not being on it. One highlight - a sox fan called in and said " What does Ozzie have Dusty Baker making these decisions for him!?" Funny stuff.

    What about a lack of sample size? 5 innings? Correct me if I'm wrong but in order to pitch any innings you need to record some outs. If JVB walked everyone he faced he would have never recorded any outs?[/i]

    I joined the game late and Neifi was batting and then the next person up was Maddux and I said to myself " Self - I cannot believe Neifi is in the 8 hole! My god Dusty finally figured it out on the last game of the season". I didn't know whether to be mad or happy that it took him this long to figure it out. Then the top of the order came up with Corey and Macias :oops: I also imagined the Phils in their clubhouse watching the game and I felt their exitement as the winning run came to the plate and their sadness as they realized that all their hope was pinned to Corey Patterson Jose Macias. A couple times this week I kind of felt OK that the Cub's were out of it as I watched the Indians and the Phils chances fade - I am still not ready to watch a choke job again like we did last year.

    I'll take it seriously. I think that, with a winter away from baseball to reset his mind, Corey *could* be considered an option to bat 8th and play a good defensive CF given a good ST, but be a prime candidate to be replaced via a trade deadline move. I think that the days of Corey being considered a top player, or even a guy who just needs time and patience to become a star, are over. I think the best he could hope to become is Mike Cameron. I think the Cubs probably trade him for cents on the dollar this winter at the GM meetings, though. He has little to no chance of success here in Chicago. I think these are some of the more sensible things I've heard about Corey Patterson.

    WOW! Mr. Clutch does it again! btw, that swing by Corey @ the high FB was absolutely horrendous. Red Sox have 1st and 3rd with nobody out. Ortiz has 145 rbi's this season :shock: I wonder how many rbi's Ortiz would have with Neifi/Macias/Corey batting in front of him? :scratch: Uhh... <106 (D Lee's total)

    OK I need Dempster to come in for a 1-2-3 with 3 strikeouts. He's on my fantasy team and I moved into 1st today for the 1st time all season with that team.

    White Sox won, Tribe and Yanks winning big. Red Sox down 4-3 - I'm calling it now - if they don't win tonight they don't make the playoffs.
