    Why? B/C CPatt's a major liability offensively. He is clearly not big league material. An absolute joke @ the plate. The games don't matter anymore. Wouldn't it make sense to have Corey try and improve his trade value(or earn a spot on next year's team, however you look at it)? We pretty much know what we've got with Hairston. Besides, with the defensive differential, Hairston's only marginally better than Patterson on the whole. I agree we should be taking a look at both Patterson and Murton to see what we want to do with them next year.

    I'll wait to see if he continues to do that for weeks. He was in the 5 hole last time I saw him start also.

    Sounds like the start of a good team. But you're missing Pujols at 1st, Utley at 2nd, Upton at SS and Franceour or someone in CF. ;) With that lineup we could afford to leave Cpat in cf for his glove :D

    What I would like to see is to have someone from the media pose the question to Dusty " Do you think that you hurt D Lee's chances of winning the rbi crown by consistently batting one if not two of the people on the team that stood the least chance of getting on base ahead of him?"n I'm not as totally down on Dusty as most people but I simply cannot understand this approach.

    I wish we would trade both Neifi and Macias for Chone Figgins - seriously Dusty would probably wet himself if he had a super utility man like Figgins. :wink: Dusty " The dude can do it all man - he's a veteran guy - I got him playing both left and short today - couldn't decide where to play him. Besides it keeps me from having to put those young guys in situations.....you know man"

    Their is also a bar named Merkle's Bar and Grill on Clark Street not far from Wrigley Field. The show their good taste by flying University of Iowa colors also.
