That posts like that make no sense? That blaming the officials or luck or God for another team winning is kinda sad. Yeah, pretty much. Just for the record though they are called umpires in baseball. :)

    I think a pretty good arguement could be made that he is not one of the top ten players in the game.

    Aram as a Cub is a better hitter than Miggy. Aram has been a 900 ops hitter the last 2 years Miggy has never done it.

    He claims he has no privacy in Boston. I don't have a problem with your scenario Vance - I think the Sox are under no obligation to trade Manny and when given that choice he will play ( and hit well ) rather than give up his 20 million.

    Odd is right - they overpay Furcal by $$$$ and can't cough up 50 grand for Bako. Weird.

    I was just on another message board where they were advocating trading Aram for Miggy. Someone told me I was dumb when I posted that Aram was a better hitter. :roll: That's actually an interesting trade idea. I don't know if it makes sense for the Cubs but the player exchange is interesting. Don't think the birds need a 3b but maybe a dh.

    I kind of thought the phrases were somewhat interchangeable until this year and now people are calling it an attack on Christmas to use the word holiday. I think there are alot bigger problems in the world.

    how is that possible? according you your rants all summer, he isn't worth anything. how does one get fleeced when trading something that has no value? See where Hendry screwed up here is that he must have released those tapes to the media of Patterson striking out every other at bat last year. Makes it look like we have to get rid of him :wink:

    Man I remember the first time Santo saw King last year ( at least I think it was the first time - who knows with Ronnie ) but he went on and on about how fat King had gotten. Even made some donut jokes - I believe he was on with Mazur at the time, I don't think Pat would have let it go as far as Andy did :lol:

    The Jeniuses on espn thought the Yankees would just go with Crosby in cf and have Bernie DH. Don't know if Patterson is too much of an upgrade over Crosby and I don't know of anything they would have to trade us.

    I have EI so I would always tune in to see Wicky close down - I kind of liked the Indians anyway. Something about watching him reminded me of those heady Rod Beck days in 1998 - you know a big fat sweaty guy trying to end the game because he's really thirsty for a beer 8)
