    Guaranteeing Cole another year at $36M when he will be 39 years old almost certainly won't end well. I would love to have Cole for the next year or two, but I can't imagine having him on a 5 year deal.

    It probably isn't the worst thing in the world. They are really managing his load anyway, so this just gives him even more time to rest the knee while his wrist heals.

    These announcers are doing everything they can to will Judge out of his slump. He hit an absolute hanger from the last pitcher in the Dodgers pen, so he must be on the verge of a major breakout!

    It's also a lot easier to be league average when you typically only bat in the most advantageous platoon situations. That applies to a lot of guys, not just Wisdom, but I think it is fair to say he was very protected.

    I realize Rizzo is playing with broken fingers so this may not be a fair assessment, but it's hard to imagine a team giving him anything more than a minimum deal next season. The Yankees are probably still the best fit for for him, but they are going to be looking to improve that position. Are we possibly seeing the end of his MLB career with this series?

    Who does Rizzo become? The Eric Hosmer of 2025? I love the guy, but he brings absolutely nothing to the Cubs at this point in his career.

    That pricing model is a complete non-starter. What I'm interested to see is whether they are committed to the free over the air channel long term, or are they eventually going to pull the rug out from under the free viewers after they have a deal with Xfinity?

    Yeah, that's what I meant too. At the same time, if a defender interferes with the receiver, the refs are going to be more willing to blow the whistle. Sure, it's a double standard and a penalty should be a penalty, but that just isn't the way they officiate the games.

    Tony Romo saw it coming a mile away, so why do you just let them do it? All you have to do is take away the sidelines. They literally didn't have enough time to do ANYTHING else there, but Eberflus is going to defend not even attempting to take away the one play that could hurt them?

    I can't get upset about that. When's the last time you have seen a hold called on a hail mary? Those aren't going to get called.

    I know one of the national analysts who comes on The Score has been saying from the beginning that Daniels was the top QB in the draft.

    It's hard to say. I think Daniels is a better QB on multiple levels right now, BUT I'm not sure he is going to be able to sustain that over a long career. Williams may eventually end up being the right choice.

    There were 5 Bears defenders around the receiver at the 2 yard line and nobody near the guy standing in the end zone.
