    If you bought pearl jam tickets through the season ticker holder presale, the fine print said that tickets purchased through the presale could not be resold and you would risk action against your account if caught selling them. Maybe they don't strictly enforce that policy, but i wasn't willing to take the risk.

    Not cool, but I guess this reinforces the Theo/Jed "draft a position player at the top of the draft" strategy.

    Is what was said about almost every steroid user prior to finding out they were on steroids. Actually it's not. Plenty of users didn't get big and muscular, not every PED user turns into a 'roid monster. For every Bonds or McGwire, there are many more guys who got busted and didn't "look" like they were juiced. It may be comforting to think that PED users are somehow visually identifiable, but the truth is that there's no way to tell without a test (and no doubt Puig has been tested multiple times by now). I agree, and I guess I didn't word my statement correctly. Not every steroid user is a big muscle-bound freak, but for those that ARE huge we typically hear the suggestion that they are just big, athletic guys up until the point that we find out there was something else involved.

    He was on the Rangers' 40-man roster, so they can't just add him as a PTBNL at any time. I don't know how it works procedurally though, if they just let other teams know that this is a PTBNL so that he doesn't get claimed by anyone else before it gets to the Cubs.

    That is what I'm thinking. Washington is already a long shot to make the playoffs. In the event they don't make up significant ground by the end of the month, it doesn't hurt to keep their trade options open by getting DeJesus through waivers.

    Why not just even out the leagues and eliminate interleague play altogether? For me personally, the novelty has worn off. Either go with a completely balanced scheduled across both leagues or go back to the traditional schedule with no interleague play.
