Is it weird that I really like the persistent PitchTrax graphic on the right side of the screen, but I absolutely hate the ESPN broadcasts with the box on the actual strikezone? -
He may not be needed by the time the 8th is over. Soriano hasn't looked very impressive thus far.
-
as someone else mentioned, chapman threw 44 pitches last night so maybe not Ah, even better.
-
A smart manager would have Chapman up for Schwarber, right? But we all know we aren't dealing with a smart manager here.

Holy [expletive]

Bryant really misses some meatballs.
-
How slow is Fowler?
-
Call me crazy, but I want Herrera playing SS more often than not.
-
OK Len, that was kinda dumb. There is no way this is a "hit a home run or strike out" situation.
-
It would be great if the Cubs could hit a home run today... a single home run is all I ask. I have forgotten what that feels like.
-
Does pulling Hendricks early ever work out?
-
The Cubs are doing everything they can possibly do to avoid the double play with Castro, yet he continues to hit into them. Maybe it is a bit of bad luck, but he is a complete liability at the plate right now
-
Can Arrieta play SS? Or CF? Or catch?
-
Just his typical short leash.
-
Where is the guy who kept saying the Cubs desperately need to trade for a closer?
-
Does anyone know what percentage of Castro's balls in play actually leave the infield?
-
90 pitches for Hendricks. I'd let him start the 8th if his spot in the order doesn't come up, but I assume Maddon will pull him.
-
That was the most confusing Gameday play-by-play I have ever read.
-
Wouldn't that also have to mean that most hitters are better in clutch situations?
-
I agree, except we are going to have to endure some unfortunate Motte blown saves before that happens.
-
A nagging injury?
-
Because one of the best bullpens in baseball had an inning where the pitcher made one bad pitch?
-
Let's play 12!
-
I missed you good Jorge.
-
Playoff atmosphere appears to be back at Wrigley. Oh, how I have missed that.
