  1. I'm not sure why, but I keep wanting to call them the "Rock and Sock connection."
  2. Clint Hurdle looks like he needs a scooter for mound visits.
  3. This should be interesting. When is the last time EJax even pitched?
  4. When do we get to the point that Wood is no longer considered a viable pinch hitter? He has looked pretty bad at the plate all year.
  5. I would prefer to continue using Tapatalk.
  6. But other than that, he had a pretty solid game.
  7. Probably can give him a max and still stay under the luxury tax with the cap going up so much the next 2 years That explains it then.
  8. By offering him a max deal. Or letting another team. Bird rights and RFA means he's ours if we want him. I understand that it is possible, but wouldn't it put them into uncharted luxury tax territory? That certainly doesn't seem like something Reinsdorf would be thrilled about.
  9. I don't know the cap specifics, but how can the Bulls possibly give Jimmy Butler a max deal?
  10. I'm starting to think the Bulls aren't going to come back.
  11. Nice effort on the glass guys.
  12. Good thing Rose is getting rested up for next year.
  13. I'm not sure Maddon quite understands double switches, unless he really thinks 1 inning of Ross over Castillo defensively was worth the move.
  14. I would much prefer not double switching Ross into the game.
  15. I imagine he is too confused to think much of anything.
  16. Assuming Wood losses his spot in the rotation, who would you rather keep in the bullpen, him or Jackson? I still think Jackson has much more upside as a reliever, but I expect the Cubs would lean toward Wood because of the supposed flexibility that he provides off the bench.
  17. He is standing almost on top of the plate so, in a way, yes.
  18. I still can't believe this FO wasn't smart enough to pass on Wood at almost $6 Million.
