It must suck as a hitter when that has been a hit your entire life and then suddenly it isn't. -
I guess I haven't followed the story closely enough, but none of this makes any sense to me and I'm not sure I even follow the implications of a rape kit being left on someone's doorstep. What exactly is the accusation here?

I get that a guy probably would like to to throw a complete game to finish his 20th win, but 120+ pitches here is an unnecessary risk. Save those bullets for the playoffs.

Tough loss, but I'm not sure I would have done anything different in the 8th and 9th. The Cardinals made the plays and things just didn't go the Cubs way this time. Now go catch Pittsburgh.

Only Rodney's seemed like it might have been intentional. Even Rodney's pitch was coming back toward the plate. It just didn't move enough.
