I bet Mets fans will be equally as sad for having to hate Jim Belushi. -
So many of these bad strike calls are completely changing the Cubs at bats. It seems like there have been several occurrences of a 1-0 pitch outside the zone being called a strike, then the hitter offering at 1-1 pitch outside the zone when they likely would have laid off if the count was 2-0. The 2nd pitch can end up being the difference between 3-0 or 1-2.

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. It would be a nice tool to show pitch location with robot umps in place, but with human umps it has just become a constant source of frustration.

I wonder whether MLB has strongly suggested that TBS not comment about the strike zone. It sure seems like they are failing to point out the location of most pitches being called outside the zone. Either that, or their broadcasters are just terrible at their jobs.
