    They mean 34 year old Maddux It isn't completely crazy to make the comparison to a mid-30's Maddux, and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with that being Hendricks' ceiling. Multiple years of mid-30's Maddux from a cost-controlled player who was essentially a trade throw-in... I'll take it.

    i've never heard coomer but you guys make it sound like a hilarious experience Not hilarious at all. And seemingly EVERY time I turn on the Cubs radio broadcast, it is the 5th inning.

    That was still worse, but this is close, if they don't get rid of Richard, there's a serious mental block somewhere... I don't think they will until they find another lefty I don't think Terry Mulholland is doing much these days and I'm pretty sure he could give us better innings than Richard.
